I know I have until "close of business" on the last day of use to upgrade a ticket. What time is that? Is that park closing? Or guest relations closing time?

We will use our last day at MK on a party day, so the park closes at 6. We are planning to leave earlier than that and go to Disney Springs. If, after that afternoon / evening at DS we don't feel like we need to go back, we might consider adding a day to the tickets to use on our departure day, which I currently have planned as a DS morning. Could we add a day at DS guest relations even after MK has closed for the day?

I need tickets for the last week of May 2026.

Unlocked Magic has tickets with 12% discount through tomorrow.

Should I pull the trigger, or do you think a better deal could happen Nov/Dec?

Everytime I try to time the market, I am wrong. On the other hand, it is possible to get real honest-to-goodness interest in a high-yeild savings account, money market, etc., and your trip is ten months from now.

Prob a dumb question but how do you activate/access the gift cards? The cards came quickly but I'd like to know what to expect when I hit the access button. Thanks!

When you click to access them, you will enter the email address they were sent to. Then you’ll see the GC account number and security code as well as a bar code. You can print that and carry it with you, and the bar code can be scanned when you use it. Or you can record the numbers in a note in your phone and then copy and paste to use when buying LLs or mobile ordering food. Or load it into your smartphone wallet, or use DisneyGiftCard.com to transfer the value to a physical DGC.

Hi~ I have old tickets and on the back the guest services CM wrote that they were good for water parks, ESPN and OGA. This was way before Oga’s Cantina existed and I’m so curious what that could stand for. Anyone know?

Just a guess, but perhaps One Golf Activity? Or something along those lines. Often water parks, ESPN WWoS, and golf options went together at one time (maybe they still do!). Again, just a guess, since you asked!

Agree with PP that it likely refers to Oak Trail Golf, which is one of the "plus" options. Either golf or foot-golf.

I have added an old 7-day ticket to my MDE (by calling Disney) for a trip in December with the family. I have already chosen my reservations for each day. Now my family (DH,older kids and grandkids) is thinking they only want to get tickets for 5 days or less to have a more relaxing and less expensive trip. If I decide to buy a 5-day ticket for myself and cancel my park reservations, I'm assuming my old 7-day ticket will not be used at the turnstile, correct? (highlighting my question :)) I don't want to have to prioritize my tickets daily.

This is really a dilemma for me - to spend more money to get less days on a ticket or waste days on a ticket I already have... The same goes for DH, as we have 2 old 7-day tickets but he only wants to go to the parks 3 or 4 days this next trip. As DVC members, I'm hoping we can use those tickets on our next trip.

Also, I didn't know about Unlocked Magic tickets as I usually use UT. It seems the savings is just little more but UT tickets are refundable and they are great to work with. DD just changed the dates on her 3 day ticket for our upcoming trip and got a little refund!

Depending on how old are the tickets, cost for a 3-4 day may be similar to what the 7-day ticket originally cost.
My 7 day ticket (expiry) cost $261! :-) It is so much less than a 3 day, which is $502.05 for the days we are going. I used to tell people that buying park passes and saving them were an investment! I wish I could have afforded more.

Yes, you can pay the difference to upgrade the 3-Day 3-Park ticket to a regular 3-day PH. Be sure to check the price so you understand what the cost difference will be -- likely considerably more than just adding hopping. I just spot-checked prices and it would be almost $200 for such an upgrade.
Thanks for the info! DO you know if it it applies even after we start using ticket (like if we decide hallway through trip)

Yes. Same credit regardless of when you upgrade. Just be sure to do any upgrade before park closing on the day you use the last (3rd) entry.

Shades of Green finally added back APs but it is not specifically stating that there is no tax. I am assuming they are not charging tax as in the past anybody happen to purchase one recently with a definitive answer? My brother is Military and always purchases our tickets but was hoping somebody might know so I could spare him making a phone call to find out, haha. Thanks in advance!

Edited to add: Interestingly it shows an end date of 9/30/2025 to get the $100 GC.

Hi Dis friends! I've done some searches through this thread and can't find specific info about paying for annual passes online using multiple Disney gift cards. DH and I have APs but our DSs (23 and 21) do not. We have crunched the numbers for the trips we plan on taking in the next year and we've determined that APs will be cheaper than date based tickets for the DSs. I would like to purchase the boys' APs online, and I would like to use Disney gift cards to do that. (I've already purchased the Disney gift cards with my Target Red card to get the 5% discount.)

Because Disney has a $1000 limit per card, and because two APs, even with our DVC discount, are going to be over $2k, it will require using three Disney gift cards (1-$1000 gift card, 1-$1000 gift card, 1-$300 gift card with a few bucks leftover on the card). From what I see online, the info is confusing. Some folks say you can use multiple gift cards on the Disney website, and others say you have to call and purchase with a CM. Before I start processing online, I figured I'd better ask. Will I be able to use 3 Disney gift cards to purchase two APs online or do I need to call and speak to a CM to get this done?

Thanks for the intel!

I called SOG and she said they are no tax giving almost a savings of 10% between the no tax and GC.

SOG $1595 NO TAX + $100 Disney GC
Direct via Disney $1549 + TAX ($100.69) + $100 Disney GC
