Ticket upgrade - Second day

I vaguely recall that at one time I could go to Universal one day (1 day ticket) and while I was there, I could upgrade my ticket to go the next day at a minimal cost. Is there anything like this available now?

I think Sea World and Busch Gardens also do this, but do not advertise it.

I guess I could just get the 2 day ticket, but I only want to go for 2 days. I would not be able to use the 3 free days at all.

You can still do that. It is around $35 to add the second day (if you have a one day/two park ticket already) or $45 if you already have a one day/one park ticket.

It still seems like the 2 day/3 free ticket ($99) is better since I can get a free child ticket with it for about the same price as a 1 day plus upgrade to second day ($55 + 45).

I guess I was hoping it would be cheap - I think Busch Gardens was $15 for the second day or something like that.

Still, $99 for 2 tickets for 2 days is great. Just a shame that I cannot take advantage of the 3 free days.

I though I heard somewhere that the third day doesn't expire though?

In this particular deal they do expire.
