Howdy!
Leaving in 18 days for a sister's-only Christmas Disney Trip! Woo-hoo! :cool1: Yep, leaving the hubbies and kids at home! (Aren't we mean!?)

Anyways, my question is regarding tickets. I have two park hoppers, each with two days on them, from my trip with my son's HS band this past February. I was going to let my sister use one of the days from my son's ticket, leaving us with one day on each ticket for a future trip (Always scheming how to get back to Disney!). However, will they do the finger "scan" on her, thus making my son's ticket invalid for his next use? They didn't do the finger scan when we went in February. These are not MYW tickets.....we purchased them right before Disney went to that system. Just wondering.....

Thanks!

The answer is yes. When your sister puts her fingers in the reader, her biometrics will be attached to that ticket from that moment on.

Is it insurmountable? No, but it might be a little inconvenient the next time your son tries to use it.

I think it will be fine. Since you got them before they used the system

Actually, that is not true. All tickets have the biometric scan attached to them now. They do this the first time an old ticket is used with biometrics. So when the sister uses the ticket, it belongs to her. Tickets have always been non-transferable and this system helps enforce that.

Sorry.
