Ticket Question

I purchased 2 day tickets. We will be attending Harambe Nights. If we enter AK after 4, then we will not use one of our tickets, correct? So we could still have a ticket for a day at AK and a day at MK? I was able to make FP selections for our Harambe Nights day at AK and selections for AK the following day and MK so I'm assuming that's right. If we leave AK and have lunch at Rainforest Cafe and reenter the park that same afternoon, that would just use one ticket, right? I think I have it figured out, but I don't want any surprises when we get there!
