Would anyone know... If I were to book my package for September before the price of tickets rise will I keep the old price of tickets even if I haven't paid off my vacation or would they raise my total after they officially raise the price of said tickets?

I really hope that made sense. Thanks!

2. Yes.

3. No. If you don't "adjust" anything in the package after signing up.
(However, if YOU make CHANGES in the package before check-in, they can raise the prices to the new level.)

And that's sucky cause I'm gonna have to make changes so they'll probably rise. I'm not adding someone until I know they are positive they are going and if I add them from the beginning ill just have to take them off probably.

Seriously though thanks for the info I was going to wait for a few months before booking but I think I'll do it soon just to try to keep the price down.

That may not make a difference if you don't change resorts or dates.

are the ticket prices going up and if so when?

Expect most ticket prices to go up every year.
The rumor we are discussing says to expect the raise sometime in late Feb.

Although ticket prices DID go up in Feb. of 2014, there is no "regular" time to expect an increase.
In fact, last year's increase was earlier than many expected it.

The increase could happen later than Feb., or earlier than Feb.
Last year, Undercover Tourist tipped that they were anticipating the increase a couple of weeks before it happened.

Could happen next month. Might not.

thanks am planning on going in August but not
ready to buy my tickets. Was going to probably buy them
in June. Hope it doesn't go up before then

If we buy tickets now for a June 2015 trip when would they expire? Are we okay buying them now? Thanks!

If you are talking about AP's, when you buy over the phone or online, you don't get the actual ticket, you get what is called a voucher or exchange certificate. When you get to WDW, you go to a ticket booth to get the actual ticket and the year starts then. You can make fastpasses with the voucher #.

You might consider making a room only reservation. For tickets, instead of going through Disney, buy your tickets from an authorized dealer that gives a small discount (like Undercovertourist.com). Then you don't have to worry about the price rising on the tickets and can concentrate on making changes as your friend may or may not come, and as room discounts may appear.

on going in early July due to the kids' schedules. Late May opened up just this week. I bought our tickets yesterday. Disney appears to have a five days for four price going now. That has trickled down to Undercover Tourist. Their claim is that I saved $86 for the four park hopper tickets. And I don;t have to go through the rush when Disney increases ticket prices.

Maybe check with Disney and see if they will would in fact raise your price if you made a change to your reservation. After all if you can save money by booking before the increase that's a good thing :thumbsup2

I would go ahead and make your reservations with the additional person that you're unsure of. If you have to take them off, that shouldn't change the pricing because you're only changing a person, not a ticket type or length of stay.

You can also call up Disney travel and ask if removing a person would cause for a ticket price change.

Sadly, there is no way to check with "Disney."

When you call, you get an operator in a call center somewhere across the country and those folks don't have
good answers to policy and operational questions.
(But, that doesn't stop many of them from making something up, on-the-spot.) :crazy2:

If you book now and don't make changes, the deal you make today will be honored when you check-in.

Disney has this deal? On Disney's website or on UT's only?

I need a 6 day ticket for our trip in December, I'm thinking of buying my tickets now ahead of the increase. If I buy the 5 days for 4 day price from undercover tourist, what happens if I go to add a 6th day later? Are those tickets upgradable and will I be paying the price increase from a 5 day to 6 day or the price increase from a 4 day to a 6 day?

1. Nothing.

2. Yes.

3. It's a 5 day ticket, so you'd pay the difference between a 5-day and a 6-day.

Okay so what I'm thinking of doing is buying the 5 day ticket at the price of 4 days on undercover tourist this afternoon. It says I will have the tickets in 7 days. I already have my resort booked on mde. When I get the tickets I can put the number in my mde account and they will then be linked to my magicbands and I can make fp+ at 60 days correct? As soon as I link them, can I upgrade them on my mde account to a 6 day ticket? Or do I have to call to do that? Or will I have to wait until I get there to upgrade the ticket?

It looks like doing it this way could save me almost $60, not including whatever I save by having my tickets before the price increase.
