Ticket prices going up?

Has anyone heard of any ticket price increases in the near future? We are going in June and will buy our AP's now if ticket prices will be going up.

Usually the price increases happen in the September time frame. Although, with the economy like it is this year, they may leave them alone to draw more people in. I have already heard that visitors are down this year from last.

Prices last went up in September 2002. Prior to that, it was 20 months earlier (January 2001)and 12 months prior to that (January 2000). There is really no way of knowing when or if Disney will raise prices since they do not give any advance notice of it occuring. In 2002, Sea World and Universal raised their prices several months before Disney did which in the past was practically unheard of.

But I'd be 99.9% safe in saying there won't be a price increase prior to your June trip.

No--- no time soon. They stayed the same price if you buy them on the internet or at the Disney Store, but if you you wait and buy them in Florida, they are more expensive.

i was in the DS last night and was told that the florida state tax has gone up; therefore, the ticket prices will have the new tax(6.5%) on them. it came out about $1-2 more for a 4 day hopper pass, adult.

It was a 1/2 of one percent increase in the Orange County tax specifically enacted for the benefit of their schools, not the Florida sales tax. It took effect on January 1, 2003 and is already figured into all the prices on the major Disney info sites as well as the prices at WDW, TDS, and the major independent ticket wholesalers.
