Was watching the local news for Orlando and yes the tickets are going up... sorry if this has already been posted but I wanted to post before I forgot the new prices...

$58.31 for adults, $46.60 for Children

I agree it seems high...But, I had a really long conversation the other night with my roomate, considering the cost of the average day at a fair/carnival the price seems extremly fair to me.

Fair Addmission- $10.00 or more
Price PER RIDE- $3-5 or more
Each Activity- $2-3

Well I average at least 10 rides or more each day in the parks so I feel I am getting my money worth... plus we bought AP's so we've more than taken advantage of them. About 25 + days in the World since we bought them at the end of November.

What does everyone else think...

Here is one other question, do you think people who are unable to ride any attractions, wether scared/disabled/etc should have a different ticket price? Thats something someone once asked me and I'm curious on others ideas on the subject.

I have complained about the fact that my 3 year old has to pay the same price as a 9 year old when he can't ride many of the rides. It is nothing to get too upset about. I don't expect Disney to complicate their pricing program to that degree. I agree with your view on the price increase. Disney has so much to offer. You get alot of bang for your buck. I too have spent way too much at carnivals!

My 4-1/2 year old DS is not yet 40 inches. While he could ride the basic attractions in the park (and he could ride them when he was 2-1/2 also), he still was not able to ride the Thrill Rides. I would love to have Disney base ticket prices on height as some amusement parks do.

I don't think there'd be any discounts for someone who can't ride the rides. There's still so much to do. See shows, shop, see parades, character meetings.
