Ticket Package Question

We already have a six day ticket package that we will be using in the month of May. During our stay, we have two separate packages (two different resorts). The first includes a six day hopper pass. The second is a "room only" plan. We are considering purchasing a one day ticket for the 2nd part of our trip so that we could include the Disney Meal Plan.

Since this would be a separate ticket from the six day package, could we sell that ticket to some friends for a future one day visit later in the summer, if we choose not to use the ticket? Will our name appear anywhere on the ticket so that it cannot be transferred? I realize that tickets are "non-transferrable" according to Disney. However, it is my understanding that tickets are "transferred" all the time. Is this true? Would we have the ability to sell our one day ticket if it goes unused by us? I know these are a lot of questions, but this is my first Disney trip. Thanks for your help.

If the tickets are on your room key, which they will be if you are using the dining plan the cards will have your names on them. Your friends could probably get away with using them as they will only ask for ID if the machine does not read the ID card. This scenario only works in the situation that you have explained where it would be a one day ticket only. If it was a multi day ticket and you had used some days and were trying to sell the left overs it would not work as those tickets would be "tagged" to you personally at the turnstiles when you first entered. But since you are not actually using the park ticket it will not have the ticket tag as that is applied at the inital use of the ticket. I hope that made sense.

So, in the scenerio listed above, if we sold that single day, non-used package ticket - the buyer should have no problem using them? Do I understand this correctly? Thanks again.
