With all the snow up here in the greater Boston area, I'm now getting a bit more worried about our trip getting bumped or cancelled. We purchased our tickets through UT and have linked them and received our Magic Bands and booked all our FP, etc. I know they are not returnable to UT at this point since I have linked them. So, my question is are they not considered used until that first scan at a park? So, if we need to reschedule, those tickets are good for whenever we can book a new trip? To piggyback this ?, do I need to bring the UT tickets for our trip or just the Magic Bands? Last year DD lost a MB and was issued a card from GS until we got back to the resort where they gave her a new MB, so maybe just bring them for backup...

Your tickets are good to use any time, even years in the future. The clock starts ticking on the 14-day expiration only once you start using them. When I received my UT cards, I scanned the back sides, making sure I could read the serial numbers at the bottom. I took a print-out with me to WDW. You could also take a pic of the back. Just make sure you can read the tiny numbers on your pic. You shouldn't have any problems just having MagicBands, but I'm a believer in back-up, "just in case."

If your trip needs to be postponed or canceled you'll be able to use the tickets at a later date. They aren't activated until they're used to enter a park. There isn't a need to bring the physical tickets, but I always do as a just in case.

Thanks guys for confirming what I thought about the tickets! Now, just make this snow stop and let us get to Disney!! I really don't know where the up to 15" coming tomorrow through Tuesday is going to go!
