Exactly. In our specific case, the value of time has far outpaced the value of money.

A faster ROFR means earlier certainty, earlier planning, and earlier use—those are things you can’t buy back later. If $500 helps compress timelines and reduce friction, that trade-off is easy to justify when time, flexibility, and peace of mind are the real scarce resources.

I’m currently waiting on ROFR myself. My understanding from my broker is that Disney side finished on 24th and will be back in work Monday 29th. Most transfer companies are present but only working on ROFR and transfer of documents M-F.
We have seen some ROFR get submitted on 19th and back by the 23rd this month. We unfortunately had to wait to weekend so ROFR was submitted 22nd which means with Christmas and now the weekend, we’re still waiting

Two of my points load from Disney earlier this year were on a weekend i believe, because I remember finding that to be a nice surprise, so Disney def works on weekend!
