No this cannot happen, probably for insurance reasons. The CM that plays tinkerbell/bill has to be 95-115 pounds I beleive and 5ft.

Hmmmm....if that is pounds per square inch I am right on the mark!!! I am a little too tall though but maybe they make shoes to make you shorter?

My neighbor is a VP in the entertainment division at WDW. He told me that Tink has to be less than 90 pounds. The woman who does it has been doing it for many years. She does almost every performance.

Tink is not a man. A 90 lb man-yeah right. Some locals just wrote a Disney travel book that is #2 (for WDW travel) on Amazon that states this too and it is so annoying.

Yes There IS a Santa... sheesh.. some people.... LOL as far as Tink goes, I remember years ago that we were amazed that one woman did this show every night... worked for a grand total of an hour in and out and was paid $100 a flight.... no idea what is what now though.... Brad??? Buzz???

I was told a similar version from a CM friend who was kind of obsessed with getting the girl's job. She said that the woman who played Tink only had to work for about an hour a day and got paid a healthy bundle, but part of that was because she wasn't covered by Disney's insurance because of the riskyness of the job. Of course, we all know how reliable CMs are. I assumed that she knew a little about what she was talking about because she had this huge poster of Disney characters and had spent her entire time as a CM getting the various characters to sign and a friend had helped her get the elusive Tink signature right before she left.

that's the deal... the official tinker bell only has to work for the flight time, gets paid a weekly salary whether she flies or not + gets hazard pay. i dunno how much it is though. but.. that's a good gig any way you slice it.

Poor Tink would be pretty hurt and upset if she knew people were going around saying she looked manly. One of Tinkerbell's friends, however, is very lovely and very sweet and I have met her a few times.
And Cinderella does not get cable in the castle. It's the line that Peter drew in the sky for Tink so she can find her way back to Neverland during the fireworks. I had to explain this to Guests while working parade many a time...

I am wondering if anyone knows if a guest can fly as Tinkerbell at the start of Wishes? If so, how do you get to do this?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

That's a shame that you can't (though I understand the reasons). Boy would that be fun!
