Hi Everyone,
I am wondering if anyone knows if a guest can fly as Tinkerbell at the start of Wishes? If so, how do you get to do this?
Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!

It is a specific job and there are many requirements such as a ceetain height and weight. No guests allowed. My SIL took the tour and was told that when Tinkerbell lands, she isn't even still inside the Magic Kingdom. She ends up in a storage building or something closer to the contemporary.

No this cannot happen, probably for insurance reasons. The CM that plays tinkerbell/bill has to be 95-115 pounds I beleive and 5ft.

Actually, when we took the "Keys to the Kingdom" tour, we were told she lands on top of a building on Main Street in MK, and we were able to see the landing site from across the street when we were inside one of the second floor offices, later in that tour...

Which is silly as far as I'm concerned because EVERYONE knows that only Tinkerbell can be Tinkerbell and only Tinkerbell can fly..

There is more than one Tinkterbell/bill. I for one think there is a tinkerbill, I will ask my cm friend and get her to find out.

if i were to entertain the notion, yes. there are multiple tinkerbells and one is a tinkerbill. the only shocking thing about that though is that you have to be very petite to pull it off. then again, there have been and are (?) male friends of Mickey

and i don't even know how tinker bell would make it to the contemporary. you can easily see the cable. she isn't exactly shot out of a cannon.

Aww man, 8 inches too tall (I'm fine in the weight though).

IIRC she lands on top of a building in Tomorrowland. I remember seeing the zipline or whatever it's called, but can't remember the exact building.

From what Ive seen in pictures- tinkerbell is very manly. Maybe shes unlucky or maybe shes not a she.

lol no worries, I was really just joking about the debate. The subject just pops up every once in a while and people go crazy (think a refillable mug/pool hopping debate ). I was just amused by the fact it always comes up.
