THV/SSR Questions

We have been seriously considering buying into the DVC and I love the THV. My question is will they be selling THV or is that considered SSR property and we will need to buy into SSR on a resale?

Also does anyone know what the point cost is going to be for the THV is it the same as the 3 Bedroom Villa?

THV is considered to be Phase 4 at SSR, so yes, to have the 11 month home resort priority you need to buy points at SSR. You can get them resale, or direct from Disney as they have reopened sales at SSR. Direct from Disney is certainly higher than you would find resale, since they are now $112 pp. Buying direct you would be able to take advantage of the incentives just like you would be able to if you purchased BLT or AKV. You would need a referral from an existing member, and I'd be happy to help you out if you need one.

The points for the treehouses are identical to a 2BR at SSR.

No seperate points. If you own at SSR you own at THV and have the 11 month booking priority. The points per night are the same as a two bedroom villa.
