Thrifty at the Airport?

For the airport experts ... Can I count on getting a reasonably safe car without too much hassle from this location (MCO)? How hard is it to get to the Thrifty pick up with out arrriving by plane? I will have a ride to the airport to get the rental. Thanks!!

I usually go through Priceline, which doesn't deal with Thrifty, but a couple of times I haven't got a good Priceline rate so I've booked Thrifty through Orbitz. Both times the cars were clean and in good shape, and the wait at the counter was minimal. Their shuttle is usually either waiting at the airport or will be there within a few minutes. Going back I've had to wait a little, but not unreasonably long. If you aren't taking the shuttle, they are very easy to find. They are right across the street from Hertz in the MCO North Exit area. That's the area with lots of hotels and restaurants. Just watch out because they will ask you if you want the full insurance or just the basic, not if you don't want any at all. If you don't want it, don't fall for that trap.
