Green things...
Lime green Mickey heads and ribbons! Many moons ago, lime green was the color of the DISboards. People who were at WDW would wear a lime green ribbon on their backpacks or whatever, so others would know they were DISboarders! It was a little bit of fun, and I still have my lime green ribbon on my park bag! The Mickey heads were paint chips from Home Depot? Lowe's? They had a Disney line of paint and instead of using plain old color chips, the color was in the shape of a Mickey head. I have a bunch of lime green ones, as well as other colors, that I take to Disney with me to decorate my resort-room window (usually at AllStars).
Nature! Right now, the view out my back window is of a lush, verdant display of dark mixed greens, nature's bounty in mid-summer. I really like how the shades of green change with the seasons: The light, yellow-y green of spring, the rich, true green of summer, and then the darkening green of fall, before the leaves burst into bright colors to celebrate yet another successful growth season and in preparation for next year!
Money. OK, a little crass, but as it's the last day of the month it means DH and I both get paid for July. We had a salary increase starting July 1st (5%, WAHOO... but we have a pretty good union and a supportive administration) and I'm in the midst of bill-paying, so the color of money is on my mind right now!
