Feb 28 sunrise... cloud cover was strange... like marine air for you coastal folks ... and very high... so the mountain range cresting sun had just a short window...and boom..all 200 palm tree trunks were highlighted yellow and then the sun disappeared into the clouds

Lizards... I don't recall any animal in Oregon that just sat there and challenged you to eye staring contest...feet away..not a mail order pest eating creature... their free and roam in such manner

Year old dog... I forgot to attach the leash to her halter. ..before opening the gate...her Mel Gibson impersonation was priceless... fortunately she adores me and ran back the 50 yards to me.... unconditional love... now how can that be free

Locally, a farm park with animals to pet and observe (my DGD loves it).

Not too far from us is a very large playground that has areas for kids with several different learning challenges and a lot of adaptive play structures.

Happy Saturday!

#1 - Vacation - We’re leaving next Saturday. So excited!

#2 - Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent - it’s hard to believe Ash Wednesday is this Wednesday.

#3 - Warmer Temps - Not tons warmer, but definitely a little warmer.

Match is NOT my month - I’ve had a lot of bad things in my life happen in March - really bad - I’ve tried over the years to counter the bad with some good by taking trips to Disney - that has not always turned out well as March bad luck came into play ….
Grateful if nothing bad happens - like someone dying who’s dear to me / or major disaster
Grateful to get through the month and past certain days - bad and hurtful sad memories
Grateful we are getting closer to Spring and done with that nasty snow & ice

March often means Mardi Gras! My sister lives in NOLA (well, just outside of the city) so sometimes we go visit, sometimes we just make gumbo and eat some King Cake, but we always wear beads at dinner!

March... In like a lion, out like a, well, one can hope, right? March doesn't mean winter is over, but it makes one optimistic that we are on the verge of mud season.

Girl Scout cookies get delivered in my area in March!

The rhyming I know I can’t put on here because I’ve learned them from my father and they’re not family friendly rhymes my mother used to yell at him when he did them - he had a ton of them

I’m not one for rhyming so I’m very interested to read other responses !! It will be the bees knees for me !!
