Three Things...Gratitude Thread

(Mon, 4/17): 3 exercise-related things you're grateful for
Hmmmm....

Been far too long since I've done formal exercise. Is someone rummaging around in my conscience? 🤣

Grateful that, on the rare occasion I take a walk in my neighborhood, I can witness the rhythms of blossoming trees, bushes, plants and grasses over the days and seasons.

Grateful for the horseback rides I've been on.

Grateful for aqua exercise classes.

Planning - love planning Disney trips
Planes - I hate road trips - I want to get there ! Unless I’m on a ship then taje your time
Pluto - one of my top favorite Disney characters ❤️❤️
Plush - who doesn’t like plushy things ???

Placement - order - matters to a lot of people and not to some - but we have to have order in life or we have chaos - the placement of how we handle things really does matter and speaks a lot - I’m grateful to know kind people who value each other and respect them and value them !

Another vote for planes - I so love being able to get to Florida in a few hours instead of a couple of days!

Plants - for cleaning our air and just making things pretty, especially flowering ones in spring

And places I've been able to travel to! - I have been very lucky, not just with Disney and other trips as an adult, but with shorter road trips as a child and an amazing study abroad summer during college.

Ooh study abroad - where and what ????

Sorry if too nosey 👃🤥🤥 just disregard !!

Not too nosy at all - it was at Somerville College, part of Oxford University. A whole group of people from my own college got to go for a few weeks, and we had some planned excursions in the area, and then a couple of long weekends to travel on our own. (I went to Ireland and Germany.) I took an English Lit and an Art History class.

PL Things:

1. Definitely Planes!
2. Planners - I don't always have to have everything planned out, but I love my planner!
3. Planting season - I live in a farming community and planting season is somewhat magical to me. Every year the farmers worry about getting everything planted, but even though it's different every year, it always works out!

PL

Where I grew up the local swimming pool had a name that began PL. ...Funny that's the first thing that came to mind. ... Anyway, I have lots of happy memories there. Plus, recently, a friend mentioned there was no pool at all near her childhood home, which made me realise I took it for granted at the time.

Planes. ✈️ Of course! :D Very appreciative of those.

Play-Doh I had a Play-Doh "Fun Factory". I loved it! Also, how evocative is the smell?

We mentioned indoor plumbing a couple of days ago, but I think it's worth more appreciation! 🚽🚿 🛀

Also, playgrounds! Even at Disney, some kids prefer their resort playground time to park time. I think it's the freedom, the lack of long lines, the racing round and round, the adrenaline! They should make adult-sized versions!

...Which brings me on to pleasure time. Lesiure with a capital PLeasure! :jumping1:

Plays. I used to love going to the theatre.

Please

1.Please and thank you
2.Planning - loooooovvveee this
3.Plain - doesn't have to mean boring

I very nearly wrote 'please & thank you', but I had already written plenty! They're words that represent acknowledgement, and appreciation, aren't they, which is so good for community spirit.

And, how did I forget planning?! :D
