We are going to stay at another resort which allows 5 people in a room for the rest of the week. But, for the first night of our stay we can't get that resort. I was wondering if anyone ever brought three children into one of these resorts? will the guard at the gate say something?

mrsboz, No, I never have. Those value rooms are really tiny. If you could get two connecting or at least adjoining rooms, then you would have ample space and two bathrooms for your family of five.
I believe that the front desk may say something, if they see that you have 3 children age 3 or over. The firecodes say that you may only have 4 plus an infant in each room.

You will be fine for one night and no the guard won't say anything to you....

When we enter the gate the guard won't ask why we have three kids? We will only be there for one night and I am not worried about the room because one child is little and will be in a pack n play. When we enter the gate we will have to say that we are checking in. The guard won't say anything then????

You will not have a problem for one night. i know people that have done it for 5 days, you will be fine.

Just curious - how old is the little one that will be in the pack n play? If he is under 3 years old, then your family of 5 is allowed to stay at any Disney resort, including the values. Our family of 5 stayed at the Movies for a whole week, our youngest was 2. Yes, the rooms are small but we were never uncomfortable. We even had the stroller in there half the time. We weren't in the room that often anyway.

But either way, the guard at the gate is not going to say anything.

My little one is 3. I am not even worried about how small the rooms are because we really are only going to sleep there. We are arriving late in the day. We will drop our stuff off and go out to dinner come back, sleep and then be out of the room by 7:30 maybe 8:00 a.m. This is why I don't want to spend a lot of money the first night when we won't be hardly using the room.

Don't worry about the guards, they are not interested in how many people are in your car when you check in. They won't even pay attention to that. You will be fine, really. :)

mrsboz, You will either have to say that you only have 2 children with you or that your youngest is 2, in order to make the reservation. They will ask how many children and their ages when you book.
