OMG---I am a nervous wreck...I could not post. I was logged out and I never log out so I tried what I thought was my password but it didn't work. My hands are shaking. I don't know how many times I tried. I emailed for a new password...that came but I still could not get in. I finally got to my user panel and it said I was logged in. Came to TK thread but it would not let me post. I tried to reply to email with password on it but it would not go through. I tried to register again but of course it wouldn't let me. I finally was successful. I do not know how long I've been trying but it seems like forever! Thanks racetrack for listening to my sob stories via email! You were the only link I have here. You just don't know how upsetting that was. I would have been the first poster today so that gives you an idea of how long it took. It was a cute smilie post too...I can use it later. I need to calm down...but I'm afraid to get off...I cannot stay on forever. I won't get any phone calls! I'm not logging off...just closing AOL. Hopefully, I'll be back...if not, I'll email Racetrack...sorry to vent but it's really upsetting...and you were talking about my fav subject---food! I'm being positive...I'm going to find chocolate...

Oh goodness M&N...I'm so glad you were able to figure things out and join us!

MMM...what chocolate did you find? Someone gave me some banana cream pie that I'm trying to behave around...

I'm always here for you. And you know if you didn't check in for a couple of hours, I would be emailing you. I wonder what happened though with the password and the logging out deal.

But remember, there are worse things that could pop up on your screen than invalid password. :rolleyes1

Hi Racetrack! I'm getting lucky these last couple of nights, my DH is into watching movies every night so I'm getting a lot of computer time! He is big into fantasy baseball so I don't get much computer time. I use to be really into baseball when I had more time. Now I just know who my team(s) :) are and root for them if I happen to catch them on.

Thanks for sending me those links!
That's my DH too!

We used the dining plan the last 2 years. The 1st year was free dining and we paid for it last year. We are not doing it this year and most likely won't again. I found it to be way too much food and we threw alot of it away. We also found that we worried too much about when our next ADR was instead of just enjoying the moment that the kids were having. And since they also cut out the tip and appetizer, I don't find it to be a good deal for our dining style. Since the meals are so big, many can be shared. And then that leaves "room" for all the goodies they have down there. Have you checked out any of menu links that they have on here? They give the prices of everything so if you kind of know what you would order, you can compare the prices.

Sure, your DH would be welcome to join us. We have lots of fun and the more the better. It starts around January so I'll make sure I send you and email with the link for that.
These are the reasons i don't plan on using the dining plan.
I think the dining plan would be too much with a gastric bypass.

Good morning dear friends! Finally, its Wednesday. For some reason, the week's gone by really slowly, which is good, I need the time to clean and do laundry, things I've been trying to avoid for nearly a week. I just have not been in the mood, and if I'm not in the mood, I'll do a crappy job.

M&N...I saw that you were watching BB last night too! Ollie is such an idiot, being so cocky about his "deal" with Dan. The only way you can truly trust someone is if its yourself! And kudos to Dan for smarting up and making the game exciting. Jerry may just run under the radar if he can keep his mouth shut. I just think Dan should have broken his word properly and nominated Ollie. And Michelle is going to go crazy!

You guys sure were chatty last night! I agree!

My nephew called me around 10:30, I had that "Oh my goodness, is he in jail?" panic. Turns out his roomate was having a little drug recreation with friends and my nephew decided to leave the room for a while. He hates his classes, somehow an 8:30 class is too early and he's missing the open fridge of home. He's already lost his ID at a frat party that he attended on Saturday night, where he found himself upstairs when the police arrived. He also found himself looking for a cab at 2am with three dollars in his pocket. He's learning the hard way, but he's learning.

I didn't watch the convention coverge either. Last time I checked, Hillary was supposed to be my state senator. Haven't seen hide nor hair of her since her last election to the senate. I think if you're going to run for the presidency, you should give up your state position. She just hasn't been taking care of her constituents here. I never liked her though, she seems to have missed the geography lesson that New York extends beyond the five boroughs of NYC. She never addresses the concerns and needs of the upstate region.

Well, that's all right here at the moment. Going to check the restaurant board and the transportation board. I agree re: free dining. If it weren't included in our package, I'd never pay for it. BF and I tend to share frequent meals throughout the day. The portions for CS are enormous, and if we're still hungry, we like to try different snacks. I have a list, which includes a Dole Whip, Figaro Fries, schoolbread and lefse from Norway, and milkshakes from Sci-Fi. I always need to get a funnel cake from the US pavillion!

College is such a learning experience.:rolleyes1 Hopefully your nephew has learned something.
Have to agree with you about Hillary. This will be my only political statement as I want remain friends! (You know what happens if you discuss politics or religion)

I agree regarding politics and religion. Everyone needs to make those choices for themselves and respect other people's choices. I'm just glad to live in a country with those choices available. I don't care who you vote for and for what reasons, as long as you get out there and vote this November!

OMG 5 pages in just over a day!! We have some chatty Cathy's here (I won't name names, but their initials are RACETRACK and M&N!!)

whgrn...when are you planning to go? I never made it to the San Diego Zoo, and its truly one of my regrets. Ever since I saw them walking through it at the beginning of Three's Company, I've wanted to see it. I did got to Legoland, but it was in Denmark and that was years and years ago. It was really cool then, but just made me realize how inept I am at legos!

Well, I've decided I'm NOT taking the kids to DL next summer, or anywhere else. They have been just awful, esp. DS, and we even had to come home early from Cape May becuase I'd just had enough of their garbage! So now I'm planning another trip to Scotland for ME (while they go to sleep away camp again!) they had me so upset last night I actually ate M&Ms and fudge! And I NEVER do that anymore! Thankfully, it didn't mess up the scale--I managed to lose 1.2 pounds in Cape May! I'm also canceling our November trip to Turks and Caicos. Turns out the new stuff at Beaches won't open until January 20, so what's the point? And with their behavior? FORGET IT! I'll tentatively reschedule for Easter break, but DS may be sitting this one out. Only time will tell!

Hi everyone.
I have nothing to say about NASCAR but I do have an opinion on baseball. :cool2: I root for any team that is playing the Yankees. I do not like them nor their owner. :p :duck: I like to root for the underdog. I rooted for the Red Sox now I think I'll root for the Chicago Cubs. I'm a glutton for punishment. I swore I wouldn't buy season tickets for the local college football team (as they suck). But I did, go to the first game next week. :rolleyes1

Yeah! Down with the Yankees! The Cubbies are ok as long as they are not playing the Phillies. :yay:

Ok, I have to defend the Yankees for my state's pride! (I'm not a fan of baseball in general). Y'all are just jealous that we're so amazing. Yes, so we may buy the best players in the league, but wouldn't you if you had the money? I'm not a fan of Steinbrenner either, and I did like Torre so I was sad to see how that all played out.

Woo hoo!! Nothing better than a good ol' fashion baseball rivalry! Too fun! I'm sure you can all guess the main reason I'm a Yankee's fan? That Derek Jeter makes me all crazy inside!  :cloud9: On the other hand Steinbrenner makes my blood boil :headache:  ! Getting rid of Joe Torre was terrible!!

M&N-good move on pulling the mother card on me! No way could I risk breaking her heart! I will root for the Phillies! :) Sorry whgrn! :confused3

DL55-no no no Red Sox! Cubbies are always a better choice over the R. Sox! :)

To all the baseball fans: My family isn't really into baseball but since we are from New England we root for the RED SOX. Over the last few years we've been to a game atleast once a year. We've been really lucky to have suite tickets given to us each time so I've never experienced the game any other way. DH went to a game in May and was given tickets for seats behind the RED SOX dugout. Cool or What! He had a really good time with 3 of his friends.

:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: How can you people even live with yourselves?!? A POX on the RedSOX!! The Yankees are the best team ever in baseball. Yes, they stink out loud this year, because Steinbrenner (who I agree is a horse's hind end!) was dumb enough to get rid of Joe Torre. And yes, they are spoiled brats. But count those World Series championships! No one even comes close! The Phillies? Don't make me laugh!:lmao: The Cubs? Oh puhLEEZE!! And we won't even GO THERE with Boston. Now, I take my Yankees very seriously. In my book, baseball is the only true sport, and the Yankees ARE baseball. So don't y'all go dissin' my Yankees!! or head s are gonna roll!!:rotfl:

You poor thing! Did the chocolate help??

These are the reasons i don't plan on using the dining plan.
I think the dining plan would be too much with a gastric bypass.

Did you have gastric bypass? Why didn't I know that?!?!

:beach: Hi whgrn!
 Hi yourself!

Evening Killers!! You guys were very chatty last night, but I read and caught up:thumbsup2.
First off I see we haven't heard from lighttech, well I'm sure she is busy working and resting and will be having her little one 8/29 like I predicted:lmao:.
Wendy, kids, that is a shame things got so bad that you had to come back early:hug:. It had to be bad if you ate fudge, really now I know you were at the shore oops down the shore fudge it's a shore thing. Good move on the Turks vacation, for now I don't think I would let them know that you re booked;).

M&N, password computer problems:scared1: welcome to my word:laughing:. Glad you were able to get that straightened out.

Hi aleciaj, aren't you the night owl and school has started by you. Told you, you would love this place:goodvibes. O'hana's great fun!!!!
love stitch:love:, we have a talking one, he is so funny! got him some years back, they sold him at the Poly and I know they were doing away with him:sad2:, but he talks out of no where. So you would forget and all of a sudden something would come out of his mouth. It would scare the 'stitches' out of you.

Mmm, trying to do this by memory:confused3, I really need to go back to multi quoting.
Pikester, school is back isn't it hard getting back in the school routine again?
I think it's the 500 papers that come home that starts putting me under, that and lack of sleep.
Bobpsmom hasn't checked in, wonder how her new job and DD's new school is going.
Magikitty, wow it doesn't take long for those kids in college to jump right into the social life. He'll learn quick, don't worry. Needing a cab and having $3 in your pocket teaches you that.
Being a foodie, wish I had free dining, can't wait for your report.
Racer is missing, oh thats right it's to early:lmao:
To everyone else a big hello!!!!

Oh there you guys are!~!!! Love the smilies, cute penguins what is wrong with mono??? I can see the tickers.
