"planning" this.

Hey guys
I have been stalking the thread regarding the DVC Christmas tree swap. Considering that I was the 1st to post; less than 30 seconds after it began, you might say "stalk" is correct. I had been on since 6 am but I got one!I feel like I won the lottery
I'm easily impressed.

Well, today DH and I are "girding our loins" for tomorrow night.
Silly us, we agreed to let DD have 7 friends (think: frenzied, non-stop-eating, screeching, running-around-the-house-in-wet-bathing-suits, scaring poor Winkleman, using-15-colors-of-nail-polish-on-my-beige-carpet-11year old girls)![]()

Dang, I knew DH and I shouldn't have opened that 2nd bottle of wine that Friday night 3 weeks ago. DD always "knows" when to ask for these things at that point![]()
She is so funny"planning" this.
She and the girls have most of the entertainment and food worked out. I just have to buy from their lists today. She has to clean the house in exchange. DH got off easy-the pool is already clean-sterile actually-and ya'll know why!! We love him even though he put the "hyphen" in anal-retentive. He will probably be doing Dance, Dance Revolution with them too.He is their live entertainment.

Anyone have any good ideas for breakfast? We have muffins and fruit salad, I was thinking of a breakfast casserole(made the night before). I could use some fresh ideas.
more later
First of all... Good luck!
As for breakfast, what about Breakfast Pizzas? If you get pre-made small crusts, each girl could make her own. (You can scramble up eggbeaters the night before, and have a bowl of that, plus bowls of cheese, chopped up peppers, crumbled bacon, or whatever else standing by.) Then, all they have to do is grab a crust put on the egg and toppings, sprinkle some cheese and pop 'em in the oven.
I'm also a huge fan of breakfast pigs in a blanket. (A pankcake rolled around a sausage w/ syrup to dip it into.)
Yummm... my cereal w/ strawberries this morning is paling w/ my current breakfast imagination... thank goodness its almost lunch time.
Great ideas! I will run Breakfast Pizzas by DD. I love pigs in a blanket too! I make a recipe (from Paula Dean) called Piggy Pudding(sausage, apples, cornmuffin mix-baked and served with warm maple syrup) for tailgating but I didn't think of pigs in a blanket and it's finger food too!
D&D...I just go to Lego.com and then click SHOP. On the right hand side there will be a SALE tag that you click on and it takes you to the sale items. And if you like Lego in general, they have an adorable lego brick lunch box and backpack. They have some hard core Star Wars stuff on there. I want the Luke Skywalker figure. Again, I highly recommend the bag charms, a steal at $5! I got the milennium falcon and its a good size!
Funny, I have another wedding in August, and the couple are Luke and Leah!
(I also named my dog Vader)
You always make me smile!I actually jumped online to look up a Moonbounce Adventure place near us. It seems that next Thurs. DSs daycare is going to take him on his first field trip!(We got the permission form today.) I can't believe my little guy is going on a field trip. (Insert sniffling Mommy smiley here.)

Am I being silly?
TTFN!
We moms worry more about things the kids usually have a blast doing. I am also glad everything is going fine w/ baby lighttech. Racetrack beat me to the Tony Stewart thread. I must have been typing when she posted.![]()
Sorry Pikester---I was going to save you from being a TK but I didn't know what to say...someone wanting a code.
Oh, I have been meaning to ask you guys. Do any of you subscribe to the Yahoo group "The Mouse For Less"?
Basically I get emails from people asking questions and answering them similar to the questions on here.
It is really neat I mean where else can you learn that putting a "sticky" over an automatic toilette will stop it from flushing automatically thus not scaring their children?
I personally have never noticed they would scare children, maybe mine are too old and I guess I would have bigger problems if my 17YO were scared of a self flushing toilette.![]()
Thanks. I am proud of her.
Sorry to jump in here and then exit but............
We are alone this week and.......................
DH just went to bed.![]()
Hope that's not TMI![]()

Here is the pic I sent to Shmu. I am cutting out some things for my class, right before work, last school year (I am so last minute) My DH snapped it on me. My Dis'ing computer is in the background along w/ my old fashioned corded phone.![]()
Now it's back toso I can finish packing. 2 more days!
Our cordless won't work in a storm, so I refuse to get rid of it.I understand that fear but mine was of the outhouse. I was always afraid that I would fall in..A few years ago I realized that my butt was too big to fall through. :I never heard of it. I'm going to have to check it out.
I knew about the post-it notes for the potty. I have to deal with that one and both DD12 and I carry post-its in our purses for public bathrooms. Now that I have had to deal with it, I understand the fear. Imagine being small enough that you have to balance yourself on the seat and right when you are in the "middle of your business", the darn thing flushes and flushes loudly.
I'd be scared too if I had never had that happen before.
Vote for your favorite...Polls are open until lunch tomorrow.![]()

He's good for me really, we both sort of reality check each other b/c I always worry about the worst, and he always assumes everything will magically work out... maybe I need to stop solving his problems...
