Not much going on around here. My daughter is on a school trip and won't be home until tomorrow. So just waiting for her to call in for the night.

Pikester-that's pretty cool about your DH and FIL. We all love racing here too and we all like different drivers except for DH and DD6. They both like Jr. too.

disney54us-We've been to quite a few races. Only Dover and Pocono. Next year, we're going to try to see a race at another track.

NEW AND OLD​

OK, I have had an idea

I read this thread, TR, and PTR
On the TR and PTR threads some people are taking there DIS friends with them on their WDW trip by the way of pictures.
They call them FLAT ______ For example, I would be FLAT SHMU
(Great way to feel skinny, because there is nothing flat about me in reality. )

Since MagiKitty and I are going to WDW at the same time in Sept. and we are both staying at the POP, I thought it would be fun to have a virtual TK DIS meet.

So here is my idea and ya'll can let me know what you think.
(I know, ---ya'll-----, I am from GA. That's my southern accent coming out.)
Everyone who wants to participate can post a pic of yourself, email me a pic, or mail me a pic.
I can then make you into a Flat buddie.
Hopefully, MagiKitty and I can meet at least once at the POP and then we can have a "Group" picture made with us and all our Flat TK buddies.

OK, Good idea or bad.
Just let me know.
I am a little loopy from lack of sleep so it won't hurt my feelings if ya don't want to.

Morning everyone! Seemed I missed a lot of chat yesterday, but I've caught up and am so happy to see everyone!

back Shmu! How did DD's Sweet 16 go? I was going to ask what your plans for "our" vacation was, and how we could possibly fit a meeting in. I'll go back to your pre-TR and try to coordinate! I'd love to have a Flat-TKer meeting! That would be so much fun!

Bf in typical fashion JUST complained the other day how we were missing EMH and how he wanted to see the park first thing. Well, considering that we're NOT MORNING PEOPLE, I planned for late breakfasts on the AM EMH days. So to rectify the situation, I plan to take him on the Mickey's Magical Milestones Tour at MK. Its only 2 1/2 hours, we get to go into the park early, and there's a surprise at the end of it. With Disney Visa, the two of us only cost $40, so its in budget too. We always enjoy that Walt exhibit at DHS, so I thought we'd enjoy this too.

Magsnden...I love the baby tickers. Its just so happy to watch the progress of a little one.

whgrn...you are my weight loss hero. I've been trying to eat more fruits and veggie since they are in season. This year's strawberries have been amazing.

Before I forget, Happy Mothers day to everyone, whether you be a mother yourself or just have a Mommy, like I do. I do hope the weather begins to cooperate.

Oh! Has anyone seen PS I Love You? Sweet, adorable film. And yum! Yum! Gerard Butler, Denny from Gray's Anatomy AND Harry Connick Jr! I was feeling fuzzy all through the movie. I recommend it! But not for the little ones, some racy scenes/talk.

Oh, and whoever asked, this is the first time I"m making ADRs, but from what I gathered b/c of the free dining people (like me) are going crazy and the restaurants are looking to be full at this time. So yeah, free dining is making everything crazy.

Thanks!!! I 1/2 wish boss had walked in on my break and seen that bright red text yelling at him. (I already informed him that if he actually wanted any of the jobs done he was bothering me about he had to stop talking to me... I'm the only woman in the office, and its that kind of testosterone driven, man's man kind of environment, so I do a lot more out in the open confrontation than I normally would. It seems to be how everyone here behaves. And, after several years of trying to stay out of the fray, I finally gave up and just started playing the way the rest of the boys do.)

I have a small dilemma and thought I would post for your opinions. Now, I could have just gone and tried to find "The best bag in the world to take to Disney World is..." thread but since you are all my new BFFs I thought I would ask you instead. Having been around the Dis for a while now I have noticed that the main two bags everyone talks about are the Bagalinni(sp?) and the Overland. I have decided to go with the Overland Brand but can't decided between the Equipment Donner http://www.sierratradingpost.com/p/92143,54804_Overland-Equipment-Donner-Bag-.html (green/blk leather or chocolate) $31.95

Yup. Had a skin graft on my abdominal wound. So far it's going good. I feel fine. I'll be glad when i can totally resume my "normal" activities (like the gym!)

I personally am partial to my Baggalini. But of the 2 you mentioned, I think I'd go with the Donner. Water bottle holders are KEY in WDW!!!!

Ok, considering how much trouble we've all been having w/ multi quotes... I do think I figured out one small thing.

My log-in status seems to time out rather quickly sometimes w/o me actually logging out. Once that has happened, my multi-quote buttons disappear.

If I log back in, they come back. Doen't explain why sometimes when I multi quote I lose my quotes, but it might explain the disappearing buttons.

Are you totally opposed to the color? I have a bubblegum pink baggalini, seems larger than the ones you're presently considering, but it does have a cell phone pocket on the strap and a side pocket for water bottles. I could send it to you if you'd like to borrow it. You're going in December, right?

You may have gotten the notice because you were the last to post before the offending post. I did actually see the post on here before it was deleted. It was just a someone who registered to post about the stuff that is going on. It seems like instead of starting their own threads now, they are trying to hide their message in long running threads hoping they won't be noticed.

MagiKitty-any word on when they will be closing the thread? Have you thought about just starting a new one before they actually close this one? Then we could all start posting over there and not have to worry about having a home if this one gets closed when we are least expecting it.

Pikester-I have to bagellini and love it. But I am also looking for a new bag for the park. Now that my kids are getting older, I don't need to carry as much stuff around. So on that thought, I would have to pick the Day Tripper bag. The smaller the bag, the less stuff I get stuck carrying.

DL55-I've been reading your trip report. Don't always have time to post but I am there every day.

I only brought up starting a new thread because I saw earlier today, a thread with less posts than this one was locked. Have you decided on the name yet? I kinda like Thread Killlers Reunited, if I didn't say before.

If you decide to restart it, I'll pm everyone if you'd like. DH went out tonight with my brothers and dad for a boys' night out. Kids will be going to bed soon so I'll have some quiet computer time.
