Hey everyone!!! Ha ha. Looks like me and Magikitty have been spending our time at the same place...the restaurant board. Waited waaayyy too long to make my ADR's and well, I got some interesting ADR times...Dinner at 2:15 anyone? I did manage to get Hoop Dee Doo review though, pretty excited about that!

Way to go on second place MagiKitty!!!! Here is to hoping you make it to first place!!!

There is a lady on the Disboards who I chat with a lot and have come to like. I submitted her resume at my work and she even came in for an interview. I am hoping to be able to hire her myself if things work out...anyway I digress. When the guy interviewing her the other day asked how I knew her I said "don't ask" I didn't want to mess up her chances and some people just don't get it...of course I have since found out that he is on myspace and goes by the name "big-rig"...ummm yea lol.


Btw, has anyone seen any of the others? We seem to be missing a lot of friends. I really miss Dreamin'. Has anyone heard from her?

I just realized how badly I mangled the word "finger".

pepperw23 I think I was mainly paying for the background check. They printed me right at the SAU office.

magsnden No biggie. I figured you were busy or either that I was invisable again. I called the dentist recommended Pediatric Dentist and my DS7 has an appt on May 16th. For now I am cuttting out the sweets as best as I can (that is anything that has a lot of grams of sugar in it) and making sure he brushes really well (Not that he wasn't brushing before but I pretty much let him do his own teeth and now I'm doing it for him). I am also having him swish with that ACT rinse. It's kind of like shutting the barn door after the cows have gotten out but it makes me feel like I am doing something. Is it the right thing? I don't know. But I don't think it will hurt.

Ok, so its Tuesday, and big dork that I am cannot wait for new releases. PS I Love You is coming out on DVD (I read the book a long time ago), and the new Stephenie Meyer book has been pre-ordered! I can't wait!

Aside from that, nothing else much to talk about except that I'm having a bit of anxiety seeing us approach that 250 mark. While I'm so proud of us, its just sad that we may have to continue somewhere else. But it is pretty amazing that we have gone nearly 250 pages as friends, with no snark and all goodwill.

I guess we now have to seriously consider our "new" title. I think it was suggested pages ago that we go "Thread Killer RE-unite!". I think that's a good one. All suggestions are welcomed, we are a democracy.

Love the name, it we have to change it. We may not have to, wait till the mod's contact you. Or you can always contact our 'friend' Kayla at the Welcome board.

Oh M&N! Thanks for the "insiders" tip! The Buzz Lightyear ride at Tommorrowland is BF's favority--we can't wait for the new Toy Story ride!

Well, today was my scale day and I'm down 3.4 pounds!!! I am thrilled! Only 2.6 pounds and I'll be back to my lowest since the bypass. And then I'll just keep losing. When I see my surgeon May 23 he will be thrilled. It's so nice to be successful at this after all the years of screwing up. I guess I finally "got it", whatever "IT" is!

It's a beautiful day here, already over 70. After lunch I'm gonna go for a nice walk!

Hope it was a good day for you. Our kids have 22 days left and someone told me the kids are done for the year...especially the seniors. One student asked him how much the assignment was worth to see if they needed to bother to do it. We could not take personal days the last 2 weeks of school so now would be the rush to get them in.
It's going to be a beautiful day in my neighborhood today so no excuse to skip the walk. Tomorrow I'm getting my hair cut shorter for summer. It's really not long now, even though Mom thinks so. It does cover the ears but not too long in the back.

This computer...I type a few words and look at the screen and they didn't type. I'm not that great at typing as it is. Then I have to hit the mouse and remember what I was saying to retype it.

Do you think they have more mad and fighting smilies than happy and party smilies...or is it just me? (I had to hit the mouse 2 times for that sentence...no hit the mouse smilie!)

So glad others suffer computer problems with me.

Feeling quite good, thanks! Everything still looks good. My only concern is the donor site. The dressing on top of it is supposed to be open to air so it can "dry out". But it's NOT drying out!!! So the drainage keeps getting on the inside of my shirt. YUCK.

I went for another walk today--40 minutes down to DS's school and back. Had to drop off his meds to the nurse, so I figured I'd walk. It felt good!

hope by the time I get caught up this has turned around!!! Oh forgot to comment on the bomb scare 1/2 hour after you were there??? Little to close for comfort!!!

M&N...how did you know my books arrived today? I called the company to find out what was going on, and it was scheduled to arrive friday but guess what was darkening my doorstep when I got back? Yes! My books. One is the newest Stephenie Meyer--she wrote the Twilight series, its supposed to be young adult but it is SO SO good! This book, The Host, is her first written for an adult reader. So excited! The second book is Birnbaum's guide to WDW dining, and I'm a little disappointed. The pages aren't glossy like the other guide, its actually kinda made of cheap paper.

Magsnden...how was the italian ice? I'm a traditionalist--cherry. And I'm going to need some help if I have to post a link or something! But I haven't heard from the mods yet, so we'll just wait and see.


lighttech...I'm further amazed by your talents after reading what you had to do to get that beautiful cake. Its just sounding like a science project to me---and I was never good at my science project. The only time I medalled at the science fair was when my project was about cosmetics! Tells you just how girly I am...but I did get second place after the cow autopsy. (don't ask. I grew up in a rural community).

Well, DH's job seems to be safe...for now. They are making HUGE staffing cuts at his company though. Mostly in Customer Service which they are sending to INDIA so they can pay someone $3/hr. If this doesn't stop the "bleeding of money" then they will make more cuts in the months ahead or sell the business. Oh, and get this...DH is supposed to train those who will be taking his employee's jobs and keep his employees "happy" while they make this transition so they won't bolt for another company. What a joke!!! Who is going to stick around KNOWING that they will be losing their job in a month???? How dumb is that?????
So now we sit on pins and needles waiting for the next ax to fall or DH to find another job. This economy stinks!!!!!

Ok, the guy is Kyle Busch, nascar driver. His driving style has given him the nickname of Rowdy. He doesn't always make the smartest moves on the track and lots of people don't like him. In fact, I'm sure many would say he is a jerk among other things...lol. So, that's why I put the thought bubble on there. And that's how alot of nascar fans perceive him to be.

When we did meet him, he was very nice to all the kids in line. In fact, he only signed autographs for kids. He chatted with each one and didn't seem at all put out by any of it.

I went for my walk today...well kind of. I had to mail Mday card I forgot about to my fav aunt in VA. She'll probably get it late but she won't care. So I drove to the PO. It's about a mile. It's raining and dreary here so I decided to drive around my fav walking blocks to see how far it is. It's about a mile so I'm good now! That's my walk for the day.
I was trying to think of things to tell Shmu to catch her up but it's hard to narrow it down so everyone who comes on today needs to write something for her. I'll start...if you want to know how Magsnden got her little souvenir from her last trip, go to post 22 in DL55's TR. (Hint it has to do with cider!)

It's rainy and gloomy here. Too cold to even THINK about a walk--last I checked it was only 49 degrees!!!! The Air Conditioner guy was supposed to come service my AC today. Needless to say, he called to reschedule. This is the 3rd year in a row this happened. WHY do they even bother to schedule before June? He'll be back June 3. It had BETTER be over 70 that day!!!

I've noticed in the past 2 days that my "skinny" clothes are getting too loose. Hmmmmm, maybe the measurements are gonna start dropping again? Cool! I've been SO good about eating my protein--yesterday I didn't even need my protein bolus, and I was still high even without it! Today not so high, but still where I belong. Who knew that lotsa protein was the answer for me? I mean, I'm not "low carb" by a long shot, but I AM high protein. Guess I finall found what works for me.

I didn't say I mailed MY Mother her card! She would kill me for wasting the stamp. I'm not to buy her a gift but was allowed to get a card. --you have to know my mom! I did find an angel pin we both got. She wore hers all the time but I never did. It's got red, white and blue on it. She wore the enamel off hers and I found mine so I stuck it in her card. She'll be thrilled. That is a terrible feeling when you think you forgot something so important.

I haven't even tried to find some cool smilies. I'm just lazy. But I am enjoying everyone else's!

An old boyfriend of mine was into NASCAR. I loved it! He was off watching the race for a few hours, and I had my reading/shopping/me time. No complaints. How lovely.

Whenever I get my hair cut and styled at the salon, I'm always amazed at what my hair can do. I'm always like, "that's me? What did you do?". I always try to do it at home also, blowdryer, paddle brush, and all. It never works. Its almost cruel to know how amazing your hair can look, only you can't seem to make it so.

I added ANOTHER ADR for September! Been thinking about Sci-Fi. I know, not the best reviewed restaurant, but I think we should experience at least once and I keep hearing about these darn milkshakes! Must....stop....now...

Oh! The manager at Coral Reef finally got back to me. I had contacted her last week about doing a custom menu for us when we're there. She arranged a diver for me, and I didn't even ask for it! So cool! This and the Magical Milestones tour are my big surprises for BF for our trip. He keeps asking if my surprise is another Wishes cruise, but I haven't found one yet, and it seems we're spending our entire budget on our extra meals anyway!

The smilies, I wish I could say just lazy, I'm just inept!! So cool about the surprise and diver, I am lost in the loop what is the Magical Milestones tour???

We went to Sci-Fi and loved it!!! It is soooo much fun and the corny movie trailers playing are hilarious. You should go. The food was pretty good. I liked the Ribs, and the milkshakes ROCKED!!!!

How cool you got the diver at Coral Reef!!! I can't wait to see the pics. I arranged some special things for my Dad at Hoop-Dee-Doo...well the CM did ha ha. I guess she noted his birthday and said they would make it special.

I didn't get a chance to get on here yesterday and I only have a few minutes this morning. I just wanted to let everyone know that I am still here.

We will be driving to Disney this year and staying at Pop from Dec 7th to Dec 14th. I am a little nervous about this as I am not a confident driver. We will be driving non stop (as non stop as you can get with two kids) and hope to get to Disney in 24 hrs.

To all the NASCAR fans. My husband used to be a big race fan. He got "into" it when he was 10. At that time they didn't show the races on TV so he had to listen to it on the radio. The only radio station that came in was on the radio in his parents van. His favorite was Richard Petty 43. When I met him he was a big Rusty Wallace Miller Genuine Draft fan. The first time he ever went to Disney World was when he and his parents went to the Daytona 500 and they decided to go to the Magic Kingdom for the day while they were down there. My husband also used to race cars. He drove the #15 Street Stock at a local track and he also drove the #15 6 cylinder Dirt Modified at a local dirt track. My FIL used to drive the Dirt Modified before my husband did and FIL has been involved with racing for a long time. We are no longer a racing family. FIL became ill and hubby decided it was too expensive. They are both happy to watch them on TV althought neither of them have a major favorite right now.

I went for my walk today...well kind of. I had to mail Mday card I forgot about to my fav aunt in VA. She'll probably get it late but she won't care. So I drove to the PO. It's about a mile. It's raining and dreary here so I decided to drive around my fav walking blocks to see how far it is. It's about a mile so I'm good now! That's my walk for the day.
I was trying to think of things to tell Shmu to catch her up but it's hard to narrow it down so everyone who comes on today needs to write something for her. I'll start...if you want to know how Magsnden got her little souvenir from her last trip, go to post 22 in DL55's TR. (Hint it has to do with cider!)

Cards didn't send them!!!! Well my mom will be here M/day, only other is for DN on her first already talk to her and she said ooops didn't send your card out, I said that's okay I didn't either, we'll make our own M/day!!!!

Yup, we at least got the spare room in enough order that I'm not totally embarassed, and DHs aunt arrived safe last night. I wish I could bag a day of work to hang out w/ her today or tomorrow, but she, DH and DS are having a great time.

M&N you crack me up! I was panicking for a sec, thinking "I didn't mail the cards to Mom!" Then I remembered we will see her on Mothers Day. DUH!!!

It's rainy and gloomy here. Too cold to even THINK about a walk--last I checked it was only 49 degrees!!!! The Air Conditioner guy was supposed to come service my AC today. Needless to say, he called to reschedule. This is the 3rd year in a row this happened. WHY do they even bother to schedule before June? He'll be back June 3. It had BETTER be over 70 that day!!!

I've noticed in the past 2 days that my "skinny" clothes are getting too loose. Hmmmmm, maybe the measurements are gonna start dropping again? Cool! I've been SO good about eating my protein--yesterday I didn't even need my protein bolus, and I was still high even without it! Today not so high, but still where I belong. Who knew that lotsa protein was the answer for me? I mean, I'm not "low carb" by a long shot, but I AM high protein. Guess I finall found what works for me.

Okay I think I did it, but as I did and then was going to catch you up on my cliff notes of the past couple DD came home with what she thinks is what DS had earlier in the week stomach virus, yeah the give me a bucket mom!!!!
