Moms package thingie:confused3.

Oops, sorry I missed this...

The Moms Package came in the mail totally by surprise. If you entered the "Moms Panel" contest they had a couple of months ago, you can expect one in the mail too. :goodvibes

It was a large envelope and it had a mouse pad (that said Disney Moms Club), some Disney Stickers, a vacation planning DVD (same one we all already have lol), a Tinker Bell trading pin (mine was MIA) and a car magnet (also said Disney Moms Club)

Pretty nice surprise!!

pepperw23-Brag away! I don't know much about baseball, but being ranked 5th sounds like a big deal to me. That is definately a proud mom moment. Way to go to your DS. And don't even mention college and campuses. I'll be a nervous wreck when that time comes. :rotfl:

Got a question for all of you. A fun question for a change. Why do you love Disney? You know, what makes you want to vacation there. For me, it's the whole atmosphere. The thought that goes into everything and all the little details. It's also the first place I've seen DH really relax. And of course the food. :goodvibes

Hey everyone. Not staying on long tonight. I am going to go take a hot bath and "chill" for a bit. I wanted to say hi to everyone.

OH!!!! Can I brag for one second? DS was ranked 5th in the ODAC (The conference that his college baseball team is in) out of all the pitchers at all the colleges. :woohoo: Don't know if it is REALLY a big deal, but it was to me. :cloud9:

How long is not staying on long? :rolleyes1
Brag all you want. We won't call you :snooty: . That's a big deal! Does he want to go pro? We have actually 4 minor league teams near me. It's gotten very popular around here.

Lighttech---can you use your friendship for a job down there? That would be fun.

I'll check in the morning for Dreamin's late night's report. :)

Definitely the atmosphere. There is just something about the feel of the place that I have never experienced anywhere else. I have never been able to really put my finger on it.

Oh yea, and the food. :lmao:

He hopes to go Pro some day. Only time will tell. He says he still needs a lot of work before he is ready. I really am getting ready to get off of the computer ha ha. At least that is what I keep saying lol.

Okay since I am being "not" :snooty: already ha ha I wanted to share this article...I figure it is safe enough since it is already in the paper ha ha. My Son is Nick W in the article. The reason I wanted to share though is because I wanted to share my really really REALLY bad joke.

There is a typo in there that says Wilson relieved Wilson...Well Wilson "relieved" Pisula (they are both Nicks) and I said "oh my goodness, my son relieved himself on the mound.."....okay I said it was a Really Really REALLY bad joke ha ha ha ha. :rotfl:

Anyway, here is the article. He did good that game...it is towards the bottom. ;)

Yeah, exactly. It's that warm tingly feeling.
And good luck to DS and his baseball future. He sounds like he got a great start.

M&N-I'll post any good details she passes on to me. Thanks for being interested. :goodvibes

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: That is exactly something I would have said. I find that kind of humor incredibly funny. I mean I can watch Billy Madison (Adam Sandler) every day and still laugh at it.

And as little as I remember about baseball, what he did is great. Is he just a relief pitcher or does he start too? I've only watched pro ball so forgive my ignorance. Is college ball "played" the same as pro? You know, are there guys who are only relief pitchers? Sorry about so many ?'s but nobody in my family watched much college sports. Just curious.

It's 12:21 am and DD finally called. Everything is going good. She sounded really excited on the phone yet even though she's been up forever. They went to Cirque tonight and she said "it was really cool". I know they went to eat at Planet Hollywood but I didn't get to ask her about it yet. She has an early wake up call and didn't want to keep her one the phone too long. Tomorrow they get to do the backstage class on Cirque and then they head to Epcot. She did say they were going to do a Hidden Mickey contest and see who can find the most. I reminded her of a couple I knew off the top of my head just to give her a head start. :rolleyes1 One interesting note, she thinks one of the chaperone's sister is a Dis'er. I suspected it before from another thread I read before. Small world. Kinda cool. :goodvibes

Gotta get to bed. I'll keep you all updated.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Great joke Pepper. We may have to get our PG rating checked for that! :rotfl: He's just a soph too. The big leagues need relievers like that. You have a right to be proud.

I wanted to check what time Dreamin got to bed last night---oops, this morning. Glad the report was 'really cool'.

I really cannot stay on long. Meeting friends for lunch and then to mom's. It's to be 80 today! Don't really need it that warm yet. I wonder how many days of the year we do not complain about the weather?

Morning everyone! Seems it was a busy night, full of great news! M&N...I'm with you! Great weather is wonderful!

Congrats Pepperw...you should totally be proud of your DS! To be ranked at all is pretty amazing in my book (I'm not athletically minded, unless its shopping) and to be 5th! Really cool. Its wonderful to have dreams...I hope he makes pro one day. Just to have something that you enjoy so much is a treasure!

(I'm part of a fantasy baseball team, I have no idea what I'm doing. I may seek your advice, although I"m fourth right now!)

dreamin...so glad to hear DD got there safe and is having a great time! And she saw Cirque! Wow! Now I'm really really jealous. I'd like to do that one day. And I still have to call my mother when I"m away---including this weekend. Things never change..and that's nice.

I've always been a Disney kid...but in the last few years, dating my BF, Disney has really proven spectacular in accomodating the disabled. The CMs have been wonderful and for once, I don't have that secret fear in the back of my mind of "what if?". There are no surprises, just fun and lots to do. I know we can go on everything, go everywhere and that is such a relief. Of course, I've always secretly considered myself a princess, and besides being a bride, you can get away with tiaras at Disney.

And I'm looking forward to the food. We've always been CS people, and eating TS somewhere outside. I'm really really excited to be able to do this with BF, otherwise we would never be able to do this with our budget.

There's so much to do before I leave this afternoon! Talk to you later!

Morning Killers, just a quick hello I will catch up later and comment.
Weather is going to be great today, so I called mental health day for both DD and DS and I think we are going to take a ride to the :beach:, so want to get moving. Tomorrow Town Wide garage sale going on so I have alot of work to do later and tomorrow. Guess I deserve a day to chill and relax:laughing:.

Just sneaking in a "hi." Read a few things I wanted to comment on, but now I don't remember anymore... I'm getting quite the run around at work today...

Wow, slow day here today. I hope everyone was enjoying the beautiful weather.

Nothing much going on here. Just waiting for DD to call and give me report of what she did today.

disney54us-did you get to the beach? How was it? I love mental health days...everybody needs them a couple times of year.

Alright. I have to get up at 6. I suppose I should get some sleep. Somehow I'm exhausted, but not tired... if that makes any sense to anyone else.

I think its a woman thing... my body is more than ready, but my brain is not. I can't seem to shut down, and I know when I lay down to try to sleep, I'll just have this racing mind going thru everything on my to do list and every other random thing on my mind.

There are days I hate being a chick. :scared: (Of course, I wouldn't want to be a man either... there's way too much scratching involved. ;) )

I hear ya! I swear it's like that everynight. I am so exhausted but still wired. But to tell the truth, sometimes I like it. I'll get in these kind of moods and start cleaning. Everyone is in bed and I can get so much done. During the day, it seems like once I clean up one area and move on to the next and finish that area, the first one is a wreck again. At least this way, I can wake up to a clean house before it's wrecked again. :rotfl: Yeah, and why do men scratch so much and not care about who sees it? Do they not realize that they are doing it or they just don't care?

Ok, well DD checked in a little while ago. She sounded very happy but tired. This morning they got to do the behind the scenes tour of Cirque. And from what I got from her report, they were taught some of the stuff that has to do with the Diabolo part of the show, (here's a link to that http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aeEObCZyADM). After the moring spend there, they got to go to Epcot. The Flower and Garden Festival is going on right now and that's the part I'm really jealous about. I love looking at pics of the park during this time and hope one day, to get there myself. I told her before she left, to take lots of pics of this. She told me she took over 200 pics there today. THAT'S MY GIRL!!! :rotfl: She didn't get to go on Soarin....said the line was over 90 minutes long. She also got to see Illuminations. We have never seen it before because of having the little ones and bedtimes and park overload. She said it was cool and we have to try to see when we go in November. Looks like I may have to change our touring plans around to fit this in. No good dining to talk about...she only had counter service today (and didn't even remember where) and got chicken tenders. Oh well, but tomorrow she has the character breakfast at Tusker House in AK so I'll post how that is.

Night all!

Good Morning, Ladies!

i'm really really behind now, and i don't think i'll ever be able to catch up! i think the last time i read you were on page 190!

ok, so can somebody give me the quick version of what i missed?!

i think lighttech's pregnant? that's GREAT!! fill me in on the details, when are you due, morning sickness etc?

so a lot's been going on over here, and if i get to get on the computer, it's only long enough for email. i have to fill you in later. i had some tests and i'd rather get the results before i talk about it. hope you all can understand.

but anyway, i really hope to be around more, like the old days! i was worried you'd have reached the 250 page, and i'd never find you all!!

Welcome back!!! Its very nice to "see" you. Thinking about you w/ whatever tests you had to/are dealing with. For the most part, none of them are fun. I'm sure we'll all respect your privacy, but you should know that we'll all be here if you ever want to talk too.

Yup, you've missed a bunch, but isn't that life? Yes, I am expecting. Due on August 28th and beyond excited. As a matter of fact, you can be the first here to get the newest news...

ITS A BOY!! Just had the ultrasound yesterday morning, and he was "struttin' his stuff" so to speak. I must admit that, petty as it was, I was a little bummed about putting away the mental checklist of all the girly pink things I was going to buy this time around (since we have one little guy at home already), (and also feeling guilty for even having that thought cross my mind since I know I am SO Blessed to have a healthy little man and another one on the way) but I'm feeling much better about it this morning, and can't wait to meet my newest boy and introduce him to his big brother. I don't think I was ever upset that this baby was a boy. B/c once I knew, he suddenly had a whole personality and, of course, I wouldn't trade it for the world, I think I was more just bummed about the thought of missing the girly stuff. (I think we're probably done at 2 kiddies, and darnit, I wanted to make a princess cake one of these days! )

But, I have to run... I just got to work and need to punch that clock now that I'm finished my stolen moment of DIS.

Have a great day everyone! And, welcome back Magsnden!!! We missed you!!!
