:scared1: OMG not a word since earlier this afternoon:eek: The killers must be busy!!! Well I ended up going through a lifetime of papers today, really started out looking for something and decided to get rid of all the old papers and files. Well actually bag them to be shreaded. Hours and hours later, bags full not done (not a one day job) and a table full of files that are keepers. I know no why I haven't done this in a few years, b/c it takes so darn long and your wiped out after.
Lighttech: Hope you check in and tell us how your meeting with the school director went. Was thinging about you as I went through files and Had DD's school files going back to 1st grade:scared1: considering she's a Junior in HS that's alot of stuff.
All you PA sufferers hope your feeling better, hey magikitty I'm sorry if I missed it but how did you make out at the bank????
Okay you all explained about the free dining, but that's only in Sept. right? Dreamin what 40% discount through triple A:confused3. I really think I'm missing out on things, and DH thinks I spent too much time on the boards:rotfl:, I guess not enough!!!!

disney54us-Yup, feeling much better today. I did the same thing as you today except with toys. Got rid of one large garbage bag of toys today plus over the weekend, we got rid of 2 large bags from DD12's room. Going to try to tackle my room this weekend. Sorry, no 40% off code from AAA. I have whatever the normal AAA discount on the rooms are. I have read on the resorts board about some people getting a 40% off code in the mail. That's what I wish disney would send me.

Well glad the PA kicker is kicking out:thumbsup2. Oh yea the toys, still have to deal with them but not as much since DS is getting older. When he was younger:scared1: and then when DD was young since there is a age difference, I use to think the only difference is Barbi's V's matchbox's and cars. It feels great to get it done, but it is sooooooo time consuming.
Very cute tee shirt link, should we all get them for our first Thread Killers corporate meeting in the world??? Who's kids are suppose to be catering that?? Whgrn is it yours:confused3, dreamin was it your SIL after she retires from the modeling/restaurant flying monkey bus:rotfl2:. Okay I'm getting giddy, sat to many hours looking at files and paper. But we haven't had any good stories lately and they oh do keep us amused.
Oh, I thought the AAA was for dining, that's what I want discount on dining :woohoo:.

Hey I had to clean my screen!:rotfl:
I need to clear out stuff too. The only relatively neat area is the garage. At least we can get both vehicles in it. :yay:

Nope, no good SIL stories lately. Maybe I'm finally getting through to her. :lmao: Never realized how many toys we accumulated. Always found somewhere to else to put them. With the 2 little ones it wasn't so bad...they could play with plenty of the same things. And the older 2 are the same way. And would you believe none of the girls ever liked barbies. Not one. :rotfl: Anyways, thankfully, the older 2 don't really like toys anymore. It's all electronics now. Smaller but way more expensive. Guess tha's the trade off.

Evening all...so glad to hear that spring cleaning is well underway. There's always something to go through/get rid of/organize. I definitely have to be in the mood to do it. Good luck and keep going!

Embarrassing as this is, when I had the DirecTv guy over, he asked how many kids I had. I told him I didn't have any, why did he think I did? He said it was because of all the dolls in the room. Oops...they're mine. I've always loved dolls and I don't think I'll be weeding them out anytime soon!

I just got off the phone with my girlfriend in Scotland...we usually only talk on major holidays, so when I picked up and heard her choked up voice, I got really worried. She's coming back to NY to get married in June, and I was afraid that something had happened between her and her fiance. But she was just emotional b/c she couldn't imagine getting married without me there. Huh? I told her I was going...but no, she wanted me to be a bridesmaid. Originally, her fiance Michell wanted a paired entourage, and that left no room for me. Well, they've talked it over and I'm in! I'm so flattered, and just wanted to assure her that if it were to be an issue and her soon-to-be husband, I didn't want to come between them. But I spoke to Michell also and he's good. What a pleasant surprise! We were both laughing and crying at the same time.

I like the green tee shirts too! and for $5--what a bargain! You know, once you have official shirts, you HAVE to commit to a corporate meeting....

Aww...I miss the SIL stories.

No, no signs of free dining yet. Rumor has it it'll be next week. I've gotten my old passporter planner out. I hope to be able to eat at Cinderella's castle. BF didn't believe me that you could actually do it. That's a challenge if I've ever heard one...

We're going to try to eat and Cinderella's castle too. I want one of those before the park opens breakfast ressies. Just to be able to walk down Main Street with barely anybody there would be so cool. Plus, with our little girls, what could be better than breakfast with the Princesses? Isn't passporter the book with the detailed instructions on how to get one of those ressies? Have you ever been on their website? If you pay a couple bucks a month, they have all the worksheets you can download. You can even edit the worksheets right on your computer for your dates and interests and then print them. It's pretty cool when trying to keep alot of things organized.

Just when you thought I would NEVER find the perfect fit for out office....I hired a guy today!!!! And go figure a guy!!!!! Me and the recruiter could barely contain our excitement during the interview. He is perfect. Has experience, funny as heck, left his old job in Maryland to move to the beach in support of his wifes career, and best part????? He likes to bake and brings the goodies to his coworkers!!!!!!!!!! Oh heaven help me with the diet.

Love your smilie :rotfl:

Yep, that's why I read the Budget and Community Boards, for the entertainment. :rotfl2:
I hope you all didn't believe everything you read yesterday. It was April Fools and was quite funny. :upsidedow
Only 8 more days! The Clothes pile for packing is growing.:hyper:

To quote Neapolitan Dynamite: LUCKY

Are you making fun of my SIL? She's my SIL and only I can make fun of her!!! :lmao: :rotfl2:

So, the direct TV guy thinks you have kids, I guess he's new and hasn't been through many houses and seen the doll rooms.

No, never we here just have come to appreciate her very exciting life and have such a enjoyable time hearing of the adventures:goodvibes :rotfl:.
Okay, once again, why do you need to go through a special person to have breakfast at the castle:confused3, it's been a few but we use to go there with no passporter, what is a passporter??? I'm telling you killers, what the heck am I missing, so clueless here.

Ha ha. Good thing he bakes because (and this is mean and I am fighting it really really hard) but he looks like that Beaker guy on the muppets...Just like him. :rotfl2: But his hair is kinda blondish gray...or what DH calls "40's gray" you know the color right? For a refresher here is a link to Beaker. Heck of a nice guy though, you guys would like him...did I mention he bakes???? :cloud9:

ETA: Man I hope he does not DIS...I guess I will just be like "Wow!!! Two Mimi's in Va Beach who just hired a guy who bakes!!! What are the odds??"

A passporter is just one of the many guide books about disney out there. The only thing different about it is it's spiral bound, come with little worksheets for your budget and stuff, and there is a tear our section in the back to carry with you in the park. No you don't need to go through anyone special to get those ressies. The guide book just outlines what is suppose to be the best way to get the breakfast ADR now. Just stuff about when exactly when to call and what you will hear when you do call. All very complicated if you ask me. I'll just let my T.A. take care of it. :rotfl:

Yeah, but you said it....he bakes. And he's funny. And he bakes. I think I could live with that. And if he does DIS, just deny, deny, deny! :lmao:

Spring cleaning? I'm still doing retirement cleaning. Had to clear off sofa so friend could sit and watch Alvin with me tonight. She doesn't mind piles! It does take time.
I watched the food channel tonight. They had a cake decorating contest from DW for princess cakes. Each had a different princess. Very nice but really not cakes to eat.
One of my requirements for a husband was he had to cook---baking would be great too but I can bake ok. The saying always a bridesmaid applies to me.
Glad for you MagiKitty. Happy tears are great.
Now to the serious business...I've got a critter---not a skunk (PTL) that ate the roots of my plants out front. I didn't see his face but he was small and furry like but didn't notice a long tail. Vole or mole? Wasn't too big but bigger than a chipmunk I've seen around. Any suggestions for what to get? I don't have pets around but don't really want to put anything bad out for the bunnies or squirrels. The guy who was getting up my leaves showed me the roots it chewed...and they were fat roots. The plants just came up. I have to get to Lowes or Home Depot on Sat.

Can you call Animal Control? That is probably what I would do. Tell them you think it might be "rabid" and you saw it chasing some kid and now it is in your yard. :rotfl: That should get their attention.

What is wrong with me tonight??? First mean...ugly thoughts about my awesome new hire...now encouraging fibbing??? Oh my. I think it is bedtime. I used to be such a good person ha ha. I will just attribute it to a stressful week. :yoda: (I just liked the yoda dude so I put him on here)

Can ya tell I am over tired tonight ha ha ha ha. :dance3:

I was looking around on line for your rodent problem. How about something like this
http://www.gardeners.com/Gopher and Mole Repellent/YardPests_Rodents,35-690,default,cp.html

I don't know if you know where it's burrow is but it might help just to scare it away. Don't know if it would scare the bunnies away too. They do have other products listed on that website. This was jjust the first that I found.

Thanks...that stuff looks safe. There were a lot of holes. When Troy was picking up the roots and getting dead grass, one little guy scurried out but I'm not sure if I can see the holes now because he raked. The other stuff looked ok too. Anti-Mole Granules Also Drive Out Skunks, Voles—even Armadillos ---I don't think it was an armadillo but maybe I should play it safe??? ;) I may have time to look today. It's to be raining the next two days-over an inch, so not sure if I should put it down then. I saw holes on my raised flower box in front of my picture window but was blaming it on the squirrels. Now I know.
