Techno stuff again:rotfl2:, But I know iMac that came after the ibook (right:confused3). My techno DD would just shake her head, really it's iMac very pretty:rotfl:.

We have all three. Right now, my iMac is in our sons' room, kinda sitting unused, but we do use the iBook and this eMac. I can't promise to be a fountain of info, but if you have any questions, I will do my best--or ask my DH for help.

Wow, I don't get to come on here for a day and I miss so much. We got new members  how exciting!!!!

:welcome: Therinian

magsnden-oh, you are so lucky. Hope you have a great time.

I just love listening to my little ones sing. DD4 was on a Jingle Bells kick this Christmas. But it wasn't any Jingle Bells I had heard before. Right now, it's all Hannah Montanna and HSM. You haven't heard anything until you've heard it sung at the top of their lungs through a karoake machine. :rotfl:

Thanks, dreamin in pa! Bethlehem, PA, eh? I live in Delaware!

I saw....lots of locals around this thread. I'm not too familiar with Delaware except to get to Dover for the races. But DH, who works in construction, has done plenty of work down that way. And I know what you mean about finding a place to fit in on these boards...I had the same problem till I found this thread. Hope you stick around. :goodvibes

I guess I have seemed to kill  enough treads to at least say hi! :wave2:

well, since i'm late (miss one day and miss so much!), you already know you are SO welcome here!!

Hey ya'll!

Just sitting around waiting on the snow to start. I hope everyone is warm and cozy where ever you are.:)

pepper - Great news on your FIL. Big relief for your family.

shmu - Thanks. DH didn't remember until I asked him if he forgot. "Forgot what?" Looks at date on watch. "Uh- oh" Yeah, uh-oh is right buddy. He is such a doofus.

Have a great night killers!

so, what are you plotting to make up for forgetting your birthday?? i know it's not that big a deal to some, but for me, my DH better remember my birthday AND our anniversary!! am i alone?

Hi everyone!!!

Just popping in. Ack!!! Looking back I see I am an oldtime of the TK thread (Just turned 39) uggg. haha. Been doing good. FIL had his surgery on his lung and they said they got it all!!! YAY!!! Only one or two doses of Chemo to be "safe".

I started my Bally's membership again, so many new classes!! woo hoo. If any of you guys are members, you gotta try the Total Body Workout...It is CRAZY...weights first, salsa, kickboxing then Yoga....As I type my legs and arms only have one thing to say "OWWWWWIEEEE" :goodvibes

I don't know either when Magikitty gets back. I guess she is having a really good time.

It was good to "see" everyone. Have a great night.

oh, what a relief about you FIL! i'm sure everyone is feeling better now. i'll keep you in my prayers for the chemo and recovery.

way to go with the working out!!

More snow predicted here in the South. Remember though. I HATE being cold. Sounds like it's time for me to go back to WDW but my ticker in my siggie says I can't go yet.:sad1:

how on earth is it possible that you guys in the south are getting quite a few days of snow, and i haven't had anything for my kids to play in??! we are surrounded by water, so somehow that makes it a little warmer than the rest of ny. :confused3 ?

:scared: Teach him the song from It's a Small World ride:rotfl2: :rotfl2:

now that's funny!

Hello! I've been trying to join in on several threads, but I suspect that since I'm a 'noob', people are less likely to include me. Gawd, I don't want a complex! LOL Will anyone say hello and bring me into the loop?

welcome!!!! looking forward to chatting some more!

ok now back to check some more posts on our thread to comment. i can't remember it all!

we're almost on page 100! pretty cool, right?

i understand a lot of people use macs for their musical ability. are you or anyone in the family a musician?
also disney54us, how about you? we just found out you have a mac. i make it sound like it's crazy!! sorry!!

:dance3: :woohoo:, When you are all caught up, do tell, do tell. Welcome Back:goodvibes.

i meant to say - 4 days until no kids! we'll be gone for 3 nights.
i'm looking forward to it so much!

my DD3 LOVES hannah montana and the show especially. she even laughs at the right time. it's a pretty cute show, so i don't mind.

ok, gotta go. see you all a little later!

And whoever said their loved one sang "Deck the Halls" a few weeks early...? That made me laugh, because I always get into trouble for busting out with "Oh Christmas Tree" or some such thing in July and August...!

That was me, its my DS (Dear or Disney Son) and he's 2 1/2. So, he has no concept of seasons, whatever he likes, he sings.

Reading the earlier pages will help, and if you ever have trouble w/ the lingo, most of us use pretty standard DIS abbreviations. If you look at the "Sticky" threads at the very top of the Welcome to DIS forum, there's one that gives all the common abbrevs. I still don't know half of them, but it helped a lot!

"fruit, fruit, fruit for the home team." we'll always laugh about that.

Well, what tired baseball team doesn't need a good healthy fruit break?! :rotfl:

4 days!! no kids!!

:woohoo: :woohoo: Good for you, enjoy!

so he'd substitute words he thought made sense, and he was convinced that "Troll the Ancient Yuletide carol" was "Give the acorns to the camel." :rotfl: :rotfl: That had DH and I going pretty good.

I always get into trouble for busting out with "Oh Christmas Tree" or some such thing in July and August...!

sounds like my daughter who just figured out the words to "take me out to the ballgame". for the longest time it was "fruit, fruit, fruit for the home team." we'll always laugh about that. right now she has some inventive words to jingle bells. i've tried to figure it out, but i'm pretty sure it's not english!

OK, I have one for everybody.
You know the song "I like big butts and I can not lie"(I HATE this song by the way but thanks to Shrek even little kids sing it:mad: )
Well, anyway, my DD asked me
"Mom, I get the big butt thing that guys like but why do they like them in a can?"
I said, "What?"
You know, "I like big butts in a can........no lie"
She thought they were putting their butt in a can.:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:
After I stopped laughing hysterically I explained what the lyrics really were.
She started laughing too.
This was yesterday and she is 15.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Schmu - OK, DH thinks I'm nuts again for bursting out laughing at the computer.
"In a can"!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Everybody - 100 Pages!!!!!:goodvibes :cool1:  :yay: :dance3: :cool2: :cheer2: :woohoo: :worship: :) :thumbsup2

Shmu-I hate that song too but the little ones think it's hilarious. When DD11 really got into Hannah Montana, I decided to tell her a little about Billy Ray Cyrus. Yup, had to play his number one hit...Achey Breaky Heart. She had never laughed so hard in her life and to this day, she still giggles when he's on the show. (no offense to anybody who may like his music :goodvibes )

Or until I go around the house, saying to DS "did I here HSM, and start singing, when I show him I learned the dance, let's just say priceless, for the look on his face.

100 pages, cool but I am concerned about starting all over again. Saw a thread that when you read title info says it's against the boards rules to let any thread go over 150pgs.??? How could that be when there are some w/47,000+++post (unless its hi, bye???) and in that one they said they have to start all over again??
:rotfl: yeah thats me, I have great musical ability just ask my kids:rotfl2:. magsden, you know that. You just came up w/ a great excuse for my computer challenged problem. I only know how to use it for garage band:thumbsup2
Oops sorry, I thought you were gone :guilty:, and back. You've must have been busy shopping at Vic's:rotfl2:

Had to delete the smiles out of multi quote, since your not allowed more then 25 in one post!!

Or until I go around the house, saying to DS "did I here HSM, and start singing, when I show him I learned the dance, let's just say priceless, for the look on his face.

I don't do the singing here...I couldn't be that mean to my kids. It's DH who torments the kids with his singing...let's just say it's bad enough that when he sings, the dog barks at him. :rotfl2: Now if we are lucky, when we go on vacation the HSM show will still be going on at the Studios. I could just see the kids faces when dad sings along.

Hey ya'll!

Welcome, welcome, welcome to our new friends!! Can't wait to learn more about you.

Ya'll have been really busy since yesterday. DD was so excited about actually getting snow, and then we only ended up getting about a 30 min snow shower. No snowman for us.:sad1: Lots of places around us got snow most of the day, I don't know what happened here.

lighttech - I'm glad the rest time worked for DS. I've also found that setting the kitchen timer for 45 min eliminates the "Can I get up?" question every few minutes. She knows she has to stay until the timer goes off. Of course, since your DS went to sleep, you don't have that problem.:thumbsup2

magsnden - Woohoo for you on the upcoming trip!! Not long now!! And yes, forgetting my birthday is a big deal to me too. He hasn't groveled at my feet yet, so he better be planning a spectacular way to make it up to me when we go to WDW in a couple of weeks. He actually told me he would make it up to me by taking me to WDW. No way buddy. You're not using a trip that's been planned for months as a way to make up for forgetting!

My DD also likes to mangle song lyrics. Around our house, the lyric in Deck the Halls that goes "see the blazing yule before us" is sung, "pass the gravy, you'll be Horace.":rotfl: Cracks me up every time.

stopping in to say goodnight! i don't know who i think i am being up at 1:30.:surfweb:
You are not alone. I'm up too. Getting ready to post my next post for my PTR. I had caffeine and I shouldn't have. At least I can sleep in tomorrow. They canceled church. Worried about black ice.:confused3

can't wait to see more in you PTR!

good morning everyone!

AUdisfan "pass the gravy, you'll be Horace." :rotfl2: Yes, an already planned trip does not count as a birthday gift. :upsidedow
magsnden I'm here, where are you?

He everyone, well did our 2 hours in Wegmans, :confused3, Just love that place and you know it takes time to sample everything:rotfl:. Nothing going on hear, trying to clean slowly since tomorrow the kids are off. It's not like oh, Mon need this done and this done. So I guess, that means I'm being semi lazy today:).
