Thoughts on P&S Camera

Hello,
Fairly new to this board so, be gentle.
I need some advice:
Looking for a new P&S camera. I have a Konica Minolta Z6, not totally thrilled with , and too bulky to carry all the time at disney.
Looking to replace my olympus Z50 .
I have narrowed it to
Canon powershot 720, Pro: 6x zoom and manual/ auto settings
Conlastic casing ( tho I am good with my stuff)
Panosonic Lumix TZ3, Pro: 10x zoom
Con: only LCD display, no eye piece, no manual control.
Any other I should look at?
My wants is something with manual/ auto, great macro and more than 3x zoom.

For Christmas I received a Fuji S700. I have been playing around with all the different settings and find it very nice for a p&s. It has 10x zoom and 7.1 megapixels. Here is link if your interested.

Thanks Dave, Looks like a nice camera, however, it is about the size of my
Minolta. I am looking for something almost pocket sized that I can keep on me all the time for those photo ops at home too.

Before I upgraded to my DSLR I used a Fuji Finepix. I had the Z1, and I couldn't tell you a bad thing about it. It was smaller than my cell phone, had a HUGE display screen and took some amazing pics.

I have a Canon Powershot A80 that I still use as a P&S, and will also soon use for underwater. It's only a 4 mp camera with a 3X zoom, but it is a very robust camera. Prior to that I had an A70, and am considering upgrading to another Powershot for those times that I don't feel like bringing along my Nikon D50. I think the Powershot line is a great collection of P&S cameras.

I just got a Canon PowerShot SD850IS. Has a manual mode and is over 3x but just barely at 3.8x opt. Had to be a pocket camera and this fits the bill.

For something with more than the ubiquitous 3x 105mm zoom, I don't think there is anything out there smaller than the Canon SD850 (140mm zoomed). It's not all that manual, for example you can keep the ISO down for less graininess but ou can';t keep the shutter speed up for fast action shots.

Canon also has still smaller cameras such as the SD1100 with 3x zoom, and one with more zoom (3.8x, 133mm) that was reviewed to give better pictures, the SD950 that's a bit larger.

All of the above have good macro although I have not seen test results.

HI, I'm back. After hours online, and store visits, I was heading for the Canon SX100... went to local camera only store, brick and mortar and ended up after 3 days of wringing hands , buying the powershot G7 for a substantial discount with 4 yr warranty. ( $350) I think I got a steal.<G>
I like the metal body, it is bulkier than a pocket model, but I think it will work well for me.
I am still playing with the menu and setting it up .
The biggest cons against the camera are the lack of RAW and movable LCD.
I prefer a viewfinder anyhow, and RAW is not a necessity to me.
