Avoiding G+ but will try to buy RotR ILL, onsite and arriving early for new AM EMH. Plan is to head to RotR, then SDD.
  • After those 2, should hit MFSM or MMRR or stay in TSL and do TSM & Aliens?
  • What time would be good to select ILL RotR for our 2nd/guaranteed ride?
  • With no Fantasmic! Back yet, do the parks clear out after dinner - hoping ToT/RnR have shorter queues then to get on?
  • Will enjoy shows mid-day for a bit of a rest as just 2 adults who plan to stay entire day. Last time in park was 2018 so lots has changed…TIA!
cheers,
🙂

It sells out so fast, so just take whatever time you can get! I also recommend getting the earliest time possible - the ride tends to go down occasionally, so people with ILLs when the ride is shut down can return any time the ride is back up (usually later in the day) which makes the lines much longer for ILL!

If you want to ride MMSR, you would probably be better off doing that early in the morning after you've done SDD. Not sure you are going to be able to do RoTR, SDD and anything else without a wait, even if you get there for the early morning hours. RoTR gets a long line even before the park opens, I was there a few weeks ago and got there maybe five minutes after they started letting early morning people in and the wait was already at least 90 min (the ride went down at the 60 min. mark so I left). SDD gets long as soon as they open for regular park guests, after that everything pretty much has long waits. As far as evening, it does get a little better the later in the evening. I got there about 8:05 one night and the line for RoTR was showing 60 min, it was 45. I also got in line for SDD one night around 7:45 and it was exactly 60 min. wait. You can do MMRR early in the morning without much of a wait and it will slow down later in the day. ToT tends to always have long lines now because they are only running one elevator. I think I got in line the morning I stood in line and had to leave for RoTR around 8 or so (the park opened at 7 for early morning I think) and the wait was about 45 min. MFSM will change wait times all day so it is possible to catch it for a 30 or 45 min. wait. TSMM can have hour long waits but you can catch that at lower times. I did it the night I did SDD, I did TSMM first and had already done MMRR, arrived at the park around 5:30 or so and waited in line for MMRR 45 min. and TSMM about a hour.

In case you can't tell, I hop a lot.

@loves to dive I’m into details so your data points 🙌 Looks like the FP maximization days are over & I’ve reset my expectations to half to full hr waits for the headliners - fab info, much appreciated! btw when I saw your avatar I immediately thought of 42 Wallaby Way…lol
