My daughter's boyfriend is Indian, and he enjoys Sanaa, but it's not the best Indian food he (or we) have ever had, and it doesn't touch what his mom makesOK so I didn't realize Sanaa was not inside Animal Kingdom. You're right, I don't know if we will want to physically leave the park for lunch and then come back.
Also we are Indian and have great Indian food nearby....is it still a must-do?

That being said, we always schedule a meal at AKL (usually Boma but sometimes Sanaa or Jiko). AKL is worth going out of your way for - it is a beautiful resort with wonderful cast members, and even though you can see animals at Animal Kingdom, it's great to sit by the fire and watch the animals and hear stories. We usually go for a leisurely dinner and just enjoy the atmosphere around the resort. But if you're "go, go, go" people, it might not be worth the time for you. But there is nothing like it at Disneyland
