Hi all!

Most of you are probably not aware, but Jacksmom99 is my SIL and, as she posted a few weeks ago, she broke her ankle on the way to work. Yesterday, as a complication to the break, she suffered a pulmonary embolism. Right now she is stable and in good spirits, (although a little miffed about the possibility of having to cancel her upcoming trip) but she could always use a few wishes.

I think she may get a computer tomorrow and I am sure, this is the first place she will come check......

Thanks!

Ohw No !!!!!!!!!!

This is realy not good news.
I so hoped for her that it would heal quick and that it would'nt interfear with her upcomming trip.

Lots of

Please keep us informed.....

Oh crap - I deal with PEs in my profession and I know what that means. Give her my best and at least we know that this is most likely an isolated incidence and it won't happen again. Not like the folks who have a chronic risk.

Tell her to hang tough and to try to have a happy holiday!

OMG, poor Kim!!

Please tell her we are thinking about her and wishing her a speedy recovery.

OMG - I can't believe this - :sad2:

I hope all is going well now for her. Please, please, please keep us all posted as to her condition. Thoughts and prayers are with you all...:grouphug:

What...crutches weren't good enough? (Some people will do anything to move to the front of the line!) :teeth:

Seriously, Kim -- I'm so sorry to hear about this latest complication but glad you are stable and doing well. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you for a speedy recovery.

Plus, look on the bright side -- now you can do a hospital dining review for Kevin!!! (Don't forget to add the kids and the crisis music. :thumbsup2 )

Oh no, that's horrible. I wish Kim all the best. I hope she has a speedy recovery.
