I know that I tend to carry entirely too much stuff. my daily diaper bag that we use now has stuff we don't really need in it. When we go to Disney, DD will be 18 months old. What do we NEED to carry with us? I prefer to be a minimalist at Disney. I don't want to carry a bunch of stuff we won't need/use.

For an 18 month old (who is really a toddler to me) I would take as few of diapers as needed maybe 3, wipes, thin pad or blanket very small to change on,small bag of dry snack, couple of band aids, sunscreen if used, an extra set of clothes like T and thin knit shorts so you only have to change whichever component got dirty, sweater or jacket if you are going to be there when it is cool. some zip lock bags. Can't really think of anything else you would need for a toddler. It is so much nicer when you travel light.

1. LOTS of wipes
2. 2 tee shirts or cotton sundresses (easy)
3. lots of snacks (goldfish, cereal, etc)
4. diapers
5. extra pacifiers if he/she still uses one (they will fall on the floor or get lost!)
6. drinks, however, you can get a cup of ice water free at any park
7. maybe a little fan from Wal Mart
8. favorite blankie for naps

Make sure the baby has LOTS of sunblock on, dont forget the ears!

Also, when I last went, I took a sharpie and wrote ALL MY INFO on my daughter's arm. Forget the stickers, badges, whatever. Those can come off.

I thought it would be worse going to WDW with my baby, but she was pretty calm and happy the whole time. Good luck!

It depends on the time of year, but when we went last year and my son was 18 months I brought:

-spare sippy cups (take & toss)
-sunscreen
-5 diapers
-40 pack of wipes
-changing pad covers (the kind that you throw away)
-raisins (little boxes, I know they are a choking hazard, but my son loved them)
-graham crackers/cereal in bags
-MONEY (so I could buy snacks/a change of clothing if need be, etc.)
-disposable ponchos/garbage bags (to cover the stroller if it rained - not with DS in it!)

Lots of people might bring more, but I felt like it was enough. I was more than willing to buy him snacks of bananas, etc., but I didn't want to lug too much stuff with us.

At least one extra change of clothes, and lots of wipes!

DD was a toddler and had a blowout diaper unexpectedly while we were waiting for the nightime parade along Main Street. I grabbed the ziplock with the outfit, the wipes and a diaper and fought the massive crowd to get her to the closest bathroom, changed her, put her dirty clothes in the ziplock and made it back to the family...so glad we had an extra outfit!

snacks, sunscreen, and lots of liquids are a must too!

Agree with previous posters, but would add receiving blankets, with clips. We took our own stroller and used the receiving blankets to protect our little one from the sun while she napped in the stroller.

Oh gosh, we're totally minimalists!! We took DD at 14, 22, and 28 months. We brought with us:

Diapers (2-3, PullUps work great for girl quick diaper changes :thumbsup2)
Pack of wipes
Extra outfit, usually a dress which allowed for quick diaper changes
Baggie of snacks (Goldfish, Graham crackers, etc)
Sunscreen
1 sippy cup, which we washed and re-used.

thats our list! the diapers/wipes in one zip loc baggie, the extra outfit in another - so we were ready for storing soiled clothes and also kept things dry if it rained!

Some days depending on our schedule i would throw in a few extras:
-receiving blanket (this was perfect even when DS was 3 for naps/sunshade or a towel if we were wet!)
-some entertainment if we had dining plans - 3 hot wheels cars or some small books depending on what DS was into (we went for his 1st, 2nd, and 3rd birthdays).

That is my list also for when my son. However know your plans for the day. and bring double the diaper count just in case.

Traveling and the change in routine and diet sent my son into intestinal issues. We had an all day planned for EPCOT and boardwalk area, and I ran out of diapers early. Gift shop diapers are stupidly priced, but when you are captive you pay it.

1 drink bottle, that we all used.
sun screen
pack of wipes, and 3 nappies.
1 jumper.

My thoughts on an extra outfit was if they got wet they would dry, if they spilt some food on them they would be grubby but it wouldn't hurt them.

We never needed anything extra (and if we did I would have bitten the bullet and just bought it), we went during a slow time and stopped regularly for snacks and drinks.

I cannot stress enough about a container of anti-bactirial wipes (Wal-Mart: $1.67 each). I know you have baby wipes, but I am jsut very aware of the germs. We practice the routine of every 30 minutes or so handing one to all the kids and scrubbing hands. It's really cheap insurance. Great to have in the diaper bag; lightweight and a container will last the entire day. Take several with you and replenish every morning.

Oh!! Yes!! I totally forgot, we *did* bring these. We actually had the Wet Ones packets, they rock!

Not sure that "Wet Ones" are truely anti-bacterial. You may want to check on that.

Please be aware that many of the "antibacterial" wipe are mostly alcohol. It is very toxic if ingested. Infants & toddlers often put their hands in their mouths. I read recently about a small child who was treated for alcohol poisoning. The mother was arrested for giving alcohol to the child. It was later discovered that the mother had repeatedly wiped the child's hands with antibacterial wipes, thinking she was protecting her from germs. Instead, she made her child very sick.

Yup, that was about it for DS too. Diapers and wipes in 1 ziplock. Outfit in a 2nd (to that if there is something very dirty, I can put it in this ziplock when I change him). 3rd smaller ziplock w/ snacks. 4th ziplock w/ my toiletries (chapstick, suncrean for all, baby safe hand cleaner). All the ziplocks thrown into a Baglinni, with the sippy on the side pouch or in the stroller.
