(1) How long have you been CVSing?

(2) How many cards do you use?

(3) About how many transactions do you do a week?

I have been CVSing since the 2nd week of January - been addicted ever since. I now have two cards, mine and my husbands. I probably do between 3-6 transactions a week! I now have about 30ecbs per card!

I've done it off and on for over a year now. I have 3 cards total - 2 for me and one for DH. The number of transactions really depends on the number of deals and coupons available. I was doing far fewer transactions when the higher $/$$ were out. Now that I have the $5/$15 I am doing about 10 transactions each week. I have 4 stores relatively close to my home. On the days that I go to the office there are another 4 that I can hit. On my DS' therapy days there is yet another store I can check out. As far as ECBs, I have $86 on my "master" card, $47 on my second and $43 on DH's card and a laundry room that looks like a mini CVS :lmao:

I have 3 cards - mine, DH's and my Mom's.

I started CVSing when they had the batteries deal going in November.

I can usually swing 1 or 2 trips to CVS a week (there are only 2 in our area) since DS is not a great shopper.

I'm hooked.

I have been doing the CVS thing for about a month now and I am sooo addicted its crazy! I have 2 cards, mine and my husbands. I probably do 3 or 4 transactions a week (at least :rolleyes1 ).

1 card, with about $85 in extrabucks sitting on it.
Only 1 transaction per week, usually on the way home from church on Sunday.

Where are the 5 off 15s coming from?

1. I am celebrating my one year anniversary this week!

2. I have two cards one for DH and one for me.

3. I usually stop once per week, but sometimes they are out of stuff so I'll stop a second time. If I want to take advantage of a limit one offer I will drag my DD along and have her purchase for me! Usually that is for things like the Fructis shampoo this week so I can get a shampoo and a conditioner free when I use the coupon.

I usually average about $8.00 OOP per week, but come home with well over $50. in merchandise and my BB's are usually at leat $30. from each transaction.

I have a card and so does DH. I only use my card. Some weeks I don't go at all and others one or two times. I think I got my card in December.

Since end of May/early June last year.

I use 3 cards. One mine, one my sister's and one is my cat's. :teeth:

# of transactions depends on the deals. I've had a lot on my shoulders lately so I haven't been doing much lately, just basically enough to keep my ECBs rolling.

On another topic - Haygan, your avatar always cracks me up! :lmao:

If you are using the $5/$15 from the wellness360 site , it's a fake. It was supposed to be issued only to ppl in CA. And has been pulled from the site. CVS is honoring them at the moment but just a heads up on that.

I've always 'done' CVS since I was an 18 but as far as actual CVS'ing:

(1) How long have you been CVSing? since 2005

(2) How many cards do you use? 4

(3) About how many transactions do you do a week? used to do 30-40, now I maybe do 3 or 4

(1) How long have you been CVSing?

Since the middle of January 2008.

(2) How many cards do you use?

Only the one for myself.
:goodvibes

(3) About how many transactions do you do a week?

For the last 2 weeks, I have stopped in about 3-4 times a week in the mornings after I take my kids to school before going to work. Sometimes just to "look" and leave empty handed. And I also shop at the CVS near church on Sundays. But once my nanny gets back from vacation in about 3 weeks (she usually drops and picks up the kids) it will drop to once or maximum twice a week near home and once a week near church.

I have about 30ecbs.
:thumbsup2

is for $$$ ;)

1. Since January 2008
2. I have 2 cards I use btw. DH and I and I have a 3rd unused card
3.I do between 2-6 trips per week depending on sales. This week was really good as I found most weekly and monthly deals, so I went several times. I carry about $30 in both cards.

(1) How long have you been CVSing?

3 years, but only obsessively for 10 mos. I used to go only when the ad had something I could get cheaper than Target or Walmart. I rarely go to Target or Walmart now.

(2) How many cards do you use?

Two: mine 80% of the time and my husband's 20%. My daughter has a card too, but she pays for all her own things.

(3) About how many transactions do you do a week?

2-4 on Sundays, 1 sometimes on Thursdays (truck comes in). More when I'm trying to do the monthly deals at the beginning of the month.

The most I ever had at once was $41 I think, and it was after the Black Friday sale.

CVS regular prices are so much higher than other stores in my area (easily 25% higher) that I rarely shopped there until last October when CVS had all of their limitless promotions. For those who remember that period, with little oop you could keep recycling a few dollars worth of ECBs for shampoo, conditioner, razors, batteries, sanitary napkins, bodywash, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Don't even remember ever using a $x/$x coupon back then, the only minimal moneymaker was if you had a man. coupon.

(2) How many cards do I use?

Always just mine, until earlier this year when I got one for DH. I use mine 80% of the time and my husband's 20%, although oddly enough his card seems to generate better CRTs.

(3) About how many transactions do I do a week?

Some weeks 0, even some months 0, but other weeks it could be daily trips. I have a CVS near my childrens' school, 1 near work, and a few more nearby, so I don't go out of my way but do enjoy popping in for a "look" if I have a few spare minutes.

I always seem to have ~$10-$15 of ECBs on each card and that seems to last a while with little oop. We are well stocked on most toiletries, don't have any prescriptions, and we're out of that expensive diaper/baby supplies stage (we have twins, cha ching!), so these days I like to use any overage to buy milk and snacks for the kids and DH.

i have been cvs'ing for just this month....finally had the nerve to step out and try it...and man am i hooked!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have 1 card for right now.....that may change today.... and so far....i have right at 38$ in ecb's :) :) Now if i could get my hands on some of these 5/15s....i wold go even more often....right now its about 2-3 times a week.

I have read and read about this and just can't figure it out? I assume the store is CVS, but what is with the card and the money on them? Are they cash back cards, or are they credit cards? Please inform I would love to become obsessed! Thanks.

For the best source of newbie CVS information, go to www.HotCouponWorld.com and scroll down the forums list for the "drug stores" section. Click on the main CVS forum and read all the stickies first!

It took me a solid week of reading all the posts before it all clicked :)

I've only had three trips to CVS so far and have $15 in ECB now. The closest store is 18 min from my house--and in a different state, so I don't get the ads in my newspaper. Starting in two weeks, I'll be driving past CVS twice-weekly for a two month period so I'm sure I'll be stopping in more often!

Only one card for me. Once I did two transactions in one trip. I'm currently holding a $4/$20 coupon that was emailed to me for updating my email address, so I'm looking for a good way to use it during the next two weeks.

There's a weekly CVS thread on the budget board -- typically it stays on page 1 because it gets a lot of interest -- it's clearly written and easy reading (I find the alternative sd and hcw sites to be way too mishmosh of information and not newbie reading). The budget board site rocks!
