A few months ago, I was redeeming for Target GCs, adding them to my phone and getting GCs at self checkout. Sometimes I would save up several before I made it to Target, and scanning would take a little while. I never had a problem though, and never had to enter an access code. Then with the reports of several Target hacks, I decided to print the Target GC and use that at self checkout. Again, easy peasy, no problem, no access code required. Today I went to cashout for a Target GC, and it says, Target will not take a printout of a GC and you must use your mobile phone. Is this new? I don't remember seeing that before, and if it was there before, it didn't matter b/c I printed and used with no problems. If Target no longer accepts printable GCs, I won't be getting their GCs anymore and will have to cashout somewhere else. I don't trust their app and prefer to have paper printouts. Anyone know?

I don't know anything about using the printouts, but I used mine this week via screenshot on my phone. Their app rarely works for me when in-store (go figure), so I wouldn't trust being able to access them if on the app.

Taking a screenshot, I had both the barcode and access code on the same picture. Cashier commented on it being nice that the access code was right there. Maybe that's an option for you?

You can load them into the app right before you need to use them but I've never been able to get it to send me the access code.

The last two times I've used digital gift cards I just acceded them through sb or shopkicks and had them scan that. It had the access code on it. I really don't think it's a huge deal, you'd have to access the card this way to print it or load it to the app. Instead just have them ready in tabs on the browser on your phone.

So far this is much better than last January! I feel like I had no/virtually no ncraves last January. I’m still expecting it to get worse.

I have no idea what happened, as I have always been truthful in surveys, but now it says that surveys are no longer for me because there have been too many inconsistencies. Will they ever come back? Is there a wait it out period? I do not know what it was that I did, but I sure hope it comes back!!!!

Same thing happened to me, I immediately began submitting tickets and asking questions. It took about 4 weeks, but they did come back, however, with a HUGE warning letting me know if I was fraudulent again, I'd be forever banned. But same as you, I was never lying, I always took my time and answered truthfully. I have no idea what happened or why I was flagged, but it was very upsetting! And now I worry with each survey that I'll banned again :-(

Also, I was waiting for the $25 Target gift cards to go back on sale. They are now, and I have enough SB for 2 (nCrave was very nice to me this past week!). Can I redeem for 2 Target gift cards at the same time?

So I don't recall the "(Target stores cannot accept a printed copy of a Target eGiftCard at the register)" part but since I've been swagging (around Memorial Day 2017) it has always said that you must use the mobile app. However, only 1 gift card that I've cashed out for didn't come with a bar code and I did have to add it to my account to get one. I just added it, printed the screenshot of the bar code and then deleted it from my account. Otherwise I've had no problem printing them to use in stores even though it said you must use the mobile app (which I never have). With the changes to the Target checkout systems it might change in the future, but you're probably still ok as long as it prints a bar code with the access code (PIN).

Mine does this too but I thought it was the other way with the numbers. I must have them backwards. I only have the little boy and he gets stuck on 8. The blue one runs great but has been gone since yesterday evening.

That's what I'm worried about. With all of the changes to Targets system lately, I'm hopeful they don't change accepting printable GCs. For now, I just cashed out for an Amazon GC, and will use that for things I need and buy a Disney GC with the money I would have spent. It still works, but it messes up the "system" I have! LOL

My parents gave us a e-card to Target (not sure why they bought it like that, but that's another story). The stories of DISers and others having their card drained when loaded on the app have made me nervous to add it. I wanted to convert it to an actual card, but my store said "no". I probably should have just tried it and not asked. I hope they don't give me a hard time about the paper print out now!

My AYCE #2 has been doing that for a week or so. I agree with @havaneselover in that , SO FAR, this January is better than last January. I had no ncraves even going into January (poof, gone by like Dec 30) last year.

I am not expecting this to last but I'm pleasantly surprised right now that I actually still have ncraves autorunning on Jan 1..

Woo! The apps, at least SBTV so I would imagine all, reset at 6! Which is good since I hit my limit on all 5 of them. For those that normally leave one running the best one that ran without having to babysit was Sportly. It ran from when I went to bed last night through some point this morning but did have bonus rounds before it got stuck on one of the "news" ads that didn't advance. We'll have to see if they change everything around tomorrow since it's the first business day. Fingers crossed they don't.
