Those using swagbucks ???

These are great stories, @ThisIsJason, @ah10is and @travelbug. I definitely think it's doable to get at least 75% of this trip handled by SwagBucks. And I didn't realize I could get gas cards through them! I've always done the Target GC's and converted those to Disney GCs. I'll definitely be checking that out.

Has anyone ever earned enough SB to basically cover lodging and park tickets? That's our current long-term goal.

I think it's pretty doable but would definitely require some decent work. I started SB's in Feb 2016. I really just read and played around that first month and didn't 'get serious' with it until March. I took off half the summer due to traveling and just lots of busyness. I was able to pay for almost half of our food budget (so $600 of $1400) with all SB's money. Not bad, imo ;-)

I am just over a year at using SB's and I have earned right at $1100. I do so very little compared to most people it seems. I don't like or do surveys, am content meeting my first goal most days and some days do not even do anything.

ETA: Our trip was in early Sept 2016

The Sportly app is giving me 6 SB per round this morning. I also see the banner up top, just like yesterday (though yesterday I only got 2sb per round).

We're currently working on this. So far we've gotten $1600 from swagbucks for our next trip. Since it's May of next year we'll definitely have earned enough swagbucks to pay for it. We started with the $32 we had left over from our September trip (mostly paid with SB, but it was also when churning was still available). Part of what I earned I was able to stretch because of gift card discounts stores did around Christmas. (Buy $50 get $5 off kind of things or Target's 10% off target cards). I'd use my Disney Visa to get the 1% back and pay the Visa with the money I earned from swagbucks from paypal payouts. Granted I know there are other credit cards that earn more, but we're working to pay down our debt also so right now I'm not really looking into getting another card.

Not exactly that scenario, but I covered dining for 12 days this past January with Swagbucks earnings, with about $300 left. There were 5 adults for the first 8 days and 2 of us for the last 4 days. It was so nice eating basically anywhere we wanted and not being concerned about the cost. I also had $150 in gas cards directly from Swagbucks that I used on the drive to WDW and back.

Didn't do lodging and everything, but I did earn enough to cover a day at Disneyland for two people, all of our food, parking, and souvenirs. Took about 5-6 months back in 2015.

Ok, I had an online panel last night for 3200 sb, It says it will take 10-15 days to credit, but I also have a double survey from spin and win, I am just trying to hold out and not do surveys until this credits..... aarrrggghhhh I just hope I don't forget to not do a survey in the next 2 weeks, and I hope this credits.....

OH on ADwall a bunch(7-8) of insurance branch offers from 4's 1 8 and a 12... good luck!!

I like reading everyone's stories about what they've paid for :)

I really started up on Swagbucks in October 2016. I had it in college but hadn't used it for a few years. Since October we've earned $385 in Target cards that were turned into Disney gift cards, and $725 in cash that I pulled out via Paypal. Around $250 of that cash went to more deals for gift cards.
I'm working towards our Honeymoon this fall. Right now we've got $1965 in Disney gift cards that we've paid around $1065 OOP (46% off face value) and $620 in cash. This is from a combination of Swagbucks, Ebates, and credit card deals. My goal is $2150 in gift cards, to pay for food, souvenirs, and maybe a tour.

For our trip this past January, we did SB for our spending money on the Disney Dream and four days on property...we had earned close to 1800 from it by brought $1350 in Disney GC's. The rest were used for Christmas gifts and items we needed to buy for the trip.

This time around we're hoping to save about $3500 in swagbucks to cover us off at a moderate resort (deluxe if we kill it at SB!) for a week plus tickets and/or dining over the next 2ish years. We just got back into the swing of it at the end of april and already we have $125 pocketed. But let's be honest...I'm taking $25 of that next week to buy myself Beauty and the Beast! ;) LOL! Ideally we want to minimize all OOP expenses and go in with one gift card for splurging on toys and merchandise, and one GC for meals/tips if we don't do the DDP (or if we do, one GC just for tips).

I think it's good to check in once in a while as a group to encourage others that they can swag their way to disney and keep motivating everyone! :) when I first started SB this time last year a fellow DISer told me about how they had saved close to 8k in swagbucks.

While it hasn't always been for Disney I've been doing swagbucks for a long time. I started doing it just before our son was born I was doing swagbucks to pay for diapers. I'd cash out amazon and have them delivered. He's 5 now so long out of diapers as we've been using cloth for DD so we don't have to worry about that expense anymore. You never realize how expensive those things are until you have a child!
