Seeking Recent Experiences re: Uber/Lyft Resort Drop-off?

Well the rumor that something has changed and Disney wasn't checking anymore has certainly been laid to rest...

I view this topic a little like guest parking at a resort without an ADR... always a bit of YMMV to the thousands of such experiences that occur on any given Disney day. And then factoring in that we only hear reports from a very tiny fraction of those experiences. So many variables involved. It's one reason I will rarely speak in absolutes on the topic. Different resorts, different guards, different events occurring on property or at the resort, or whatever other variable you pick can influence what they may or may not be doing at any moment in time.

Personally most of my Lyft experiences have been "dropping off" and we're waived through without further question. But like I said... YMMV.
