Thomson booking and MDE

I've booked to go back next April staying on site through Thomson. I've tried linking the booking to MDE using both the booking reference Thomson have given me, neither worked. I went in to the travel agents today to see if they could help but was told as MDE was so new they had no knowledge of it yet!! Has anyone managed to link their trip and if so how did you get the right ref number. I know it's ages yet before I can sort MB and book ADRs or FP+ but I just want to see my trip details on MDE to make it real lol!!!
 
The Thomson booking reference is all I needed to link my booking on MDE. Are you putting the correct reference number in? The reason I ask is because there are two references Thomson give, the flight/accomm one and the booking reference.

The one you need isn't the one that is separated by a forward slash.

They can be 7 or 8, a few people on another thread are struggling to find their bookings on it so may be a system issue?

Give it another try in a week or so, plus if you've only just booked then that might be the issue. Good luck!

My reference (from WDTC) is 6 numbers. (Starts 60****) if that helps. X
 
I emailed thomson the other day about this and they said they can't give the reference numbers for the Disney tickets until 60 days or something. Me thinks they were trying to fob me off... Going to have a play nearer the time to see if I can link it, we don't go till August

60days!!! There'll be no ADRs or FP+ left by then. Would you mind letting me know if you get it sorted xx
 
And this is why I avoid travel agents and always book DIY. Good luck though.

I nearly linked this thread into a reply to another recent one discussing DIY vs booking a TA package, but thought it might be a bit cheeky. It's the reason that I'm not interested if a TA can save me £200.
 
Don't get me started...... We are booked with Thomson but staying off site, on an all in one package so flight hotel and tickets, but we can't link the tickets as you don't get real tickets just e vouchers and apparently they can't be linked. We are going in 6.5 weeks time so very doubtful we be able to get any fast passes as off site gues can book 30 days in advance.

We're staying on site I've just looked through the Thomson broacher again and there is a whole page about magic bands, FP+ and MDE so I know I will be able to use it I just need to get the right ref number first, I've been back into the travel agents and they are working on finding it for me. Hope you manage to get some FP+ booked xx

You may not have a problem with them but the fact is, they are not doing you a favour, they a providing you with a service you have PAID for. Only they are not. Because they don't know what they are selling. It's basic bad salesmanship. I understand why people use TA and it's absolutely a personal decision. But you should be getting better service than this.
 
We booked for 30th June next year (booked with Thomson's but through Thomas Cook) and today I managed to link my booking to MDE. I stumbled across something that mentioned a 6 digit number so I decided to try our 7 digit reference without the first number and it linked.

Do I now need to get a reference for my park tickets and link that to our account?
 
I having a few issues with mine.

Booked April last year for oft this year. Got access to MDE in November last year.

Initially it only showed one of the 2 rooms. But we did find the other about a month later.

But it is missing a person and from December until now been going room in circles trying to get it sorted. And still no closer.

Thankfully it has let me book ADR's for all of us
