Do you have to have a PIN for those rates?
No PIN, just logged in with my AP =)
Do you have to have a PIN for those rates?
Just to be curious . .. save another 20% off what?
Sure!
Does anyone know how many rooms you can reserve with your AP? I would only need 2 as my parents are supposed to come along too.
OK, got it, thanks. I thought you were somehow stacking discounts.Another 20% off of the price versus booking with Disney direct.
Prem View at PPH 4/27 - 4/30 with Disney = 1130.22
Prem View at PPH 4/27 - 4/30 with Orbitz w/ Promo = 935.39
That's with taxes included, saved me 194.00

Should the Orbitz price be listed at the 20% spring rate already to start (like Disney is offering), then Orbitz DISCOVER 20% off if you use the PROMO code?
Woo-hoo, just saved $140 through the Orbitz deal off my previous Cheap Tickets 25% off deal!Yes, it says this
Save up to 20%* on rooms at the Disneyland® Resort
On the first page, plug in the promo code at the bottom. Then you are all set
So happy I have been stalking for the perfect time to book!!!!!!!! I already booked with Disney and only have until this week to cancel. With booking through Orbitz and buying the park hoppers with orbitz, same days, same room, I am saving $572.00 from what I booked with Disney direct just two months ago. Only thing I wont get is the photo memory, Espn zone $10 game card and some luggage tags.. Heck!![]()
Woo-hoo, just saved $140 through the Orbitz deal off my previous Cheap Tickets 25% off deal!Thank you!! We bought our PH's with the Ebates/Orbitz deal, so got a super price on those as well. It definitely pays to watch this board! Thanks, everyone! I will continue to keep my eyes open.

I went through ebates too . . . wasn't sure if this Orbitz reservation counted toward anything though.Gotta agree. Going to cancel my previous booking with Orbitz and rebook with them and save $100! Now to check what the extra cash back is on ebates....![]()
Ebates cash back for prepaid rooms is 1%, or at least it was last week.I went through ebates too . . . wasn't sure if this Orbitz reservation counted toward anything though.

If Disney is running a promo for everyone with 20% off, for example, third party sites will start with this discounted rate. So any code you have, such as DISCOVER, will just add to your savings. You will not beat this with an AP discount. I think the biggest AP discount possible is 30%. The only way to improve your rate is to hope that Cheaptickets offers another 25% off promo with DLR hotels included. For the past month, their promo codes have not applied to DLR properties.
Yep, it's park viewsWhen Orbitz says Premium View for PPH - does anyone know if this means theme park view? I want theme park view and Disney site has all views available for my trip dates, but Orbitz is showing only "Premium View"
I booked the DLH through Ebates/Orbitz using the DISCOVER code and got my 1% cash back. I even got the check for it two days ago. You may want to call Ebates if it doesn't show up in your account soon.FYI for those who used the DISCOVER code through Orbits and Ebates...I found out from them last week that if you use a coupon code not offered through Ebates (ie DISCOVER), the purchase does not qualify for the cash back offer. Bummer![]()
Does anyone know if you still get the AP perks (free fast passes) if you don't book with the AP rate?
PP has 2 basic room categories: standard and premium/theme park view rooms. DLH has 3 basic room categories: standard, deluxe (floors 2-6 pool/downtown disney view through trees) and premium (upper floors with pool/unobstructed downtown disney view). Third party sites will not always have all categories because, I believe, they only have a specific allotment of each to sell.So what is considered a Deluxe view through Orbitz? I booked the Premium view 20% off then added the "discover" promo code, but if we just book the deluxe view I save $135 more. Maybe the Premium view is worth the $135...thoughts?
