Don't you mean you took the Monorail to the TTC, because there is no direct bus from Epcot to the Magic Kingdom.
That's what I thought.Yep,that is correct, had buses on my mind for a minute!![]()
I am totally confused with this post. I'm not trying to be funny but why would Disney have tickets called "hoppers" if you couldn't hop from park to park? All the threads, strategies, and trip reports of people parking at the theme park they'll end the day with, but hopping on a bus to go to the park they want to begin their day with. I guess I just didn't understand the resistance of this information. If you're new I understand, but this info is no secret by far.![]()

That's what I was confused about too. It just seems so commonsensical to me.
It is no secret, by far, BUT unfortunately, you will read plenty of threads here on the Dis by people who staunchly and stubbornly believe the contrary.
With all due respect, to you it may sound "commonsensical" for people to know about this -- BUT you will be surprised at the vast number of Disers who do NOT know (just check the responses to this thread, no offense to those who are just learning about this).
Pictures of the bus signs would be great to add to this thread! I think I have seen them posted here on the DIS before, maybe someone will post some more.Hope this will help you understand why this information persists:![]()

I, for one, who lurks in the TR section religiously, have read numerous accounts of Disers going back to their resorts in order to hop to another park. (And what's more is that those Disers have had several trips under their belt per their siggys.)

As the OP said, she has seen several threads about this piece of misinformation (as I have), and the point of this post is to correct that.
Btw, thanks for posting this info, OPYou have helped plenty of Disers (posters and lurkers alike) This is why
And oh, and we'll be there in 23 days (woo-hoo!) so I'll try to take photos of the bus stops/buses in questionHopefully, the heat won't stop me from hopping. We shall see

There is also a bus from DHS to Wide World of Sports, in case anyone was wondering.![]()
Can you get to Wide World of Sports from the TTC?
Thank you for posting this. It's all about education. I have had to tell more than one person, "NO, you can't walk from one park to another."
... Like the boat ride between Epcot at HS. The boat is nice break between the parks. I'm trying to recall the correct order, but I think it usually goes from HS to YC to BWK (to Swan to HS). In which case, if you take it from HS and can walk well, it is faster to get off at YC and walk if you are going to Epcot. Even if you stay on it all the way to BWK, if you are a fast walker, you can sometimes beat the boat. The boat takes time to dock...
Oh, and I often get a chuckle about the incorrect DIS info out there about the quickest way to get from one place to another. My favorites are the ones who suggest a monorail +boat +bus to get to Chef Mickey's from MK....
