It's true that NAN gets yelled at...but that is because THAT WOMAN tries to abuse her!

Nan- glad you are finished! Unexpected emergencies, or just being nice because you want to be are exceptions...It's just we don't want HER to think you are available ANY time she needs help...

Honestly, you all are sooooo much nicer than I am....(maybe it will rub off)

It was DS8's birthday and yep we had a blast.

This isn't the only reason why I haven't been around but it took a big chunk of time. I have had to step up a bit though because our Pres has been dealing with her DS's health issues, and the person that is supposed to be doing the pumpkin contest is flaking on me, and the lady that heads the school store has been tending her FIL, he had a massive stroke 4 weeks ago. I think we are going to drop the store for the year but the kids really look forward to the pumpkin contest.

I'm really happy with the bulletin board, J and I worked very hard on it and it's really made the teachers take notice and they are fixing up their boards too. And I was commissioned today to do the Library board for the book fair in November.

The theme for Scholastic is Book Safari so we are doing a Safari themed bulletin board, thank goodness for the Animal Kingdom cartridge.

Safari is our school theme this year.. we have monkeys around everywhere in our building..thank gosh they are stapled to the walls... I don't know how they would handle all the extra monkeys since they already have 750 in the building!!!
