Tomatoes.....quite possibly nearly as bad as the zucchini but easier to use. And eggplant.

I stopped putting lettuce in the garden. We did get some corn, snowpeas and green beans as well.

Apples will be next.

Love tomatoes and yes they are far more versatile.
Apples will be good.

Just walked in the door and mum says
'gosh you look pale.'

Umm. Hi mum. Nice to see you too.
I guess I look the way I feel...

I hear a bowl of fried rice calling.
TTFN...

Food is always such comfort. ;)

Making some mini teacakes for DS' lunch box. Time for them to come out and for me to go sprinkle some cinnamon sugar over the top.

I made cupcakes of this recipe.

Oooo...
lots of rain
I noticed your post up on shushh's thread. Zermatt? What time of year?

I don't want to go into the details on the thread much yet...
But I have a 7 night package including breakfast and dinner at a hotel in Zermatt I won. But as it didn't include flights I'm still weighing up costs of getting there and using it...

So I'm just wondering if aussietravellers has any info about other times of year and what's best.
I need to use it by October. And it needs to be at a time other than around the London Olympics... :confused3

Congrats. Anytime is good for zermatt. But I'm partial to a September timeframe.

Merrell Stubbing is in Sydney? WOW!

I remembered seeing him briefly in the news last night but didn't connect the dots until I was skimming my emails tonight and found this in a news pulse from the tele...

I found some food porn...in one of those "candid" shots DBF has a habit of taking...

This is a pasty...

From this FAMOUS pasty shop.

We were walking towards this bridge

when he said "Do you want a pasty before or after we cross the bridge?"
Me thinking - Ummm...you've met me right? BEFORE!!!

OMG it was so good. The pastry just dissolved and the filling so lovely

Nice bridge tooo...

That's a gorgeous bridge. What type of pastie/y? Was it a Cornish type or similar to what we get here?

Cornish I believe. But made in the traditional pinched top way rather than the way we find it here where it's a half circle.

I actually walked in there because DBF loves pork pies, although I felt it was a bit cold to be having one. But then I saw they were also selling hot pasties :woohoo:

I like pork pies too...although I am really partial to a good Cornish Pastie. The local bakery here sells them...pure vegetarian or with a bit of meat in them.

I'm gonna say goodnight.

Tonight is the first night in the last 3 nights where the night is cool. The last 3 nights we've been having lows of 25 C. I'm gonna go catch up on some sleep.

Catch you sometime.
