BC/YC and BWI can't be beat if you like Epcot or MGM. Either walk, take bus or the friendship boats and you're there in a few minutes. Love evenings at BW-so much to see, do and eat!

We have a 2 BR ressie for BCV. I know requests are not guaranteed, but any suggestions? We'd like the 2 queens in the extra bedroom, possible view of Illuminations, a good sized balcony, and something close to StormAlongBay but not too far to walk to Epcot with 2 little ones. Is this asking too much? :rotfl2: Should I shorten my "wish-list", and if so, what would you remove? Any help here would be great. This is our first trip, DS's 8th B-day, and mom coming with. Thanks in advance.

We just got back from a week at the Beach Club, and my only request was a full balcony. We got a balcony only large enough for one person to stand on, I was disappointed but after looking at the structure of the place from the outside, I realized it would be difficult to score a full balcony, unless you were on the 5th floor (concierge). We did have a fairly good location, near the elevator with a courtyard view.

That is one issue that tipped me toward the Yacht Club rather than the BC...at the YC, it is difficult NOT to get a full balcony.

I'm wondering if there is a private dining number for the Beach Club Villas? I'd like to order something special for my DS' 10th b-day like a cake (or ice cream cake if they can do that) or something. Has anyone been able to do something like this? If so, what have you ordered & where do I call?

Thanks for the picture Beca. I had never seen the quiet pool before! I know where I'll be planting my towel next weekend!

I know that there is a room service number which may be able to help you. Another very good option would be the BoardWalk Bakery which is steps away. I know they could make up a cake for you. Hope this helps.

My DH and I are staying at the BC for the first time, and I thought I read somewhere that there were only 13 rooms at the BC with king beds. We're just staying standard view, so I wondered if anyone knew if this was true, or what the chance of getting a King bed was? We share one at home, and are very used to the space ;) TIA!

Thanks for the tip, I hadn't thought about the BWB!

Hi!

My husband and I will be celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary in two weeks at the Beach Club. Has anyone been there recently and know what special treats can be ordered from room service? On the allears site, under the menus, there is a list of room service "amenties" from the beach club. They sound really cool. The list is copied below. It's from 12/03 so I didn't know if these things were still available. I know it would be easier to just wait until we got there and place the order, but I might have a hard time doing it on the sly so it would be better if I could call in advance.

Thanks!!

Yes, they sell milk in the BC Marketplace although I don't think in cartons. As I recall, there are both individual and larger size plasic bottles.

I'm so excited to hear that this thread will be updated. We recently switched our reservations from WL to YC after learning the pool at WL would be closed during our stay in January. Wondering if DD2 and DS8 would be comfortable together in a daybed if we recieved a king plus daybed room on concierge level. Any thoughts? Maybe we'd be better off with two queens... Thanks!
