Omigosh... the kids are so excited. We've got 3 or 4 countdowns going around the house, I've lost track. The boys each have one next to their beds, there is one in the hallway outside their room on a dry erase easel and then there is one in the kitchen. So 4... yep, 4.


Did you know that GEORGE LUCAS is going to be at HS on Friday the 20th for the re-dedication ceremony for Star Tours!!! Hayden Christiansen (??? Not sure if I am getting that right but the dude who played Anakin in the movies) MIGHT be attending too, but that is just a rumor at this point. Can you say MADHOUSE?

We're staying off site, at the LBV Resort Village and Spa. On the 21st we will be at HS for SWW... may the force be with us... we will need it!



On the days we overlap:
20th ~ we're arriving, getting settled into the condo and then DTD for TRex and shopping
21st ~ HS for as long as we can handle the crowds but we may bail if it's too much
22nd ~ MK
23rd ~ NO PLANS!


We can come up with something! I'm excited!
















I think given everything... losing your sister and then Leah's news... you are bound to start feeling like the glass is half empty, even if that isn't your normal nature. It's a lot... too much even... to process quickly. Give yourself some time to grieve, scream, cry, and curse! And don't beat yourself up over it either.

No kidding!! I want to go so bad. They are having a drawing to be among the first to ride the Star Tours for the AP holders. I entered it and I thought Scotty and I could maybe hop down there. I have a room paid for so it wouldn't cost that much but it looks like Scotty is working overtime for the day I picked to go. So, that leaves out my May trip.

Last day is next Friday, the 20th. It's a half day and I will be missing it. Abby's school does an eighth grade "graduation".

Sooo.... 8 school days left.

I'm sure I'm leaving someone off...not intentional. Hope everyone is doing well!

AFM ~ Alex is on Sweet Potatoes this week and he loves them. So far the only thing he hasn't liked is green beans. Go figure. I'm considering moving him up to 2 solid meals a day. I'm not really sure what I should do. I looked at some of the schedules that some of the mom's on my due date board have their babies on and some do a full solid meal, no milk with it. My pediatrician said to do one jar of solid food and then offer him a bottle after. That's what I've been doing and it works but....I dunno. Do you guys remember what you did with your kids? Solid food totally confuses me. I'll be so glad when he's totally off the bottle.

Other than that things are good. Lexie needs surgery on her knees. Vet said it would be about $1000 per knee so we're going to do one at a time. Probably do the first one next month. Blah. Now I'm wondering if recovery is going to be like when a human has knee surgery. You need LOTS of physical therapy. We should have taken care of this while I was still pregnant. But we had other things to worry about at the time. Oh well, it'll all work out.

Don't let the solid food thing fool you. They get the most and best nutrients from their milk and he'll let you know as he wants more and more. I do know it is best to give him the veggies before the fruit because they will naturally like the sweet best. I nursed Tyler but when starting him on food I started him on cereal first because that's what my pediatrician said! And I was just following the rules. We did it at supper first and then started the veggie thing at lunch and within no time he was eating cereal and solids 3x a day. I mixed his solids with his cereal because I was nursing and had no luck pumping with Tyler. Braeton was a totally different story! go figure!! Whatever you do is going to be fine. You are a great Mommy and you'll get it all figured out!! Every child is different and their is not a "perfect" way that fits every baby!!

Wow everybody was busy today. I am sorry but I am not going to comment back on everyones posts. I am just not in the right mind set. I'm sorry.

Well I had another setback this weekend with the whole colon thing. It went too much and then not at all and then no food would stay down. Seems like we got it mostly figured out and I am feeling much better. There are two spots that have come up one on my back and one on my right lower side. they took ultrasounds and x rays today so hopefully will know results tomorrow. I was told yesterday that I might could go home by wed or Thursday. Didn't see the surgeon today and he has the final say so So we will know tomorrow.! And the best news iis I got to start eating real food yesterday and am keeping it all down. I am staying pretty smart and keeping it to light foods but Oh it feels good to taste REAL food again! And I am even drinking Ensures to gain wieght and get better. I am so ready to be back with my boys again! I still have a bit of a Granny Shuffle but I am working on that!! Love you all!
And I am having to pray off my envy of those of you heading to the World without me!!

Those who have gone in the past were getting there at 5am and there was already a line!! And now you add on the opening of Star Tours 2.0 and I don't want to be anywhere near that park!

Somone one on the Touring Plans (Unofficial Guide) site said that the executives are expecting to reach capacity at DHS and will have to close it off to new entrants.

We are in MK that day -- far, far away from it all!!

We did Breakfast: milk, grain (rice, oat, barley) cereal mixed with baby food fruit.

lunch: milk, baby food or pureed adult food, baby fruit

dinner: milk, baby food or pureed adult food

If she was hungry in between a meal or right before bed, we did baby fruit and rice cereal.

Thanks Leah. We have pain meds for her now and that seems to be taking the edge off the pain for her.

Thanks for filling me in on what you did for your boys. You're right, every baby is different. It's just so confusing and hard to know if what you're doing is right. I don't want to screw him up for life I know I'm overreacting but....ugh. I know that everything I do now affects the rest of his life.

REGULAR SWW's are crazy! I can only imagine what this one will be like. Good idea going to MK that day. I would stay far away from all of that too. When the guy that played darth maul was there we were there and we had to stand in line to get tix to see him. That was insane. The pictures are posted on my FB. We didn't get tix to meet him but Chris found someone that didn't care to meet him that DID get tix and bought his tix off of him. He just wanted to make some extra cash. So Chris got to meet Darth Maul and get his book autographed. I bet if we were down there for this year's SWW he'd try to meet George.

We had no problems with Frasier until a month after Eliza was born....LITERALLY! It was unreal that once I was not working and we had a baby to add to the mix that we had to deal with insane vet bills. Glad the pain meds are helping her out!

Aww thanks girl. Yeah it's NO fun! We put off getting her leg fixed because Alex was due and all the extra expenses with having a baby. And now I'm having to constantly buy him clothes. I'm hoping the growing slows a bit the older he gets.
