Did you happen to talk to Leah today? Curious how she is doing

Just a couple of short text messages. I do know that I was concerned when she said she was NPO last night. That means nothing by mouth so she wasn't even on a clear liquid diet. Today she got her clear liquids back and she may get to move to other liquids tomorrow.

Her dad had someone else preach for him this morning so that he could send the morning with her and then they were bringing the boys into see her. I guess she walked out to meet the boys today and then was able to go downstairs with them. That is a good thing.

Oh well, it was busy because I am a mom, for that I am thankful to the moon and back ~ so a crazy busy Mother's Day is alright by me.

Whew.... camping this weekend was fun. Not as much fun as the last time because we didn't have as many people go this time. Two of the moms that I am pretty close with weren't there so I was bummed about that. But it was nice to soak up some nature and spend quality time with the fam.

And now Tomato is gone. He's in Brazil!!!

Tired! Not too much sleeping went on at camp... between it being pretty chilly at night, sleeping on a cot and listening to all of the wildlife... I just didn't get much sleep at all. Then last night was Tom's first night gone and I slept horribly. Hoping tonight will be better.

Yeah, I know it's cutting it close, but if it works out, I'd love to meet up with you guys.

the 20th we are in MK and the 21st our tentative plan is to be in DTD, but we have to leave around noon. Sometimes we go to a park if we have our butt in gear early enough.

If we don't meet up, just know that I"ll be saying hello to you virtually.

I'm sure I'm leaving someone off...not intentional. Hope everyone is doing well!

AFM ~ Alex is on Sweet Potatoes this week and he loves them. So far the only thing he hasn't liked is green beans. Go figure. I'm considering moving him up to 2 solid meals a day. I'm not really sure what I should do. I looked at some of the schedules that some of the mom's on my due date board have their babies on and some do a full solid meal, no milk with it. My pediatrician said to do one jar of solid food and then offer him a bottle after. That's what I've been doing and it works but....I dunno. Do you guys remember what you did with your kids? Solid food totally confuses me. I'll be so glad when he's totally off the bottle.

Other than that things are good. Lexie needs surgery on her knees. Vet said it would be about $1000 per knee so we're going to do one at a time. Probably do the first one next month. Blah. Now I'm wondering if recovery is going to be like when a human has knee surgery. You need LOTS of physical therapy. We should have taken care of this while I was still pregnant. But we had other things to worry about at the time. Oh well, it'll all work out.
