How many times do we need to give our flight information to DME? When I first booked my airfare, I called CRO and requested DME on 03/10/05, giving them my flight number. I called at about 30 days out to reverify all my resort #'s, PS#, tour #'s, and that they had my flight information. The CM at that time read my flight information off their computer, so I know they had it. When the ME 866-599-0951 number first came out, along with the posts that they didn't have people's information, I called DME and almost without giving me time to finish my last name and without even asking for my resort conf #, the CM just said 'yes we have you and don't worry and that if I didn't get my tags to just look for the CM in the blue coat with Mickey gloves.

I felt very uncomfortable with that call, because there was no way she had time to verify my flight info was in their system, so I called back the next day and sure enough they didn't even have me down for ME. A really nice CM took my flight info again and said I probably wouldn't get my luggage tags, but don't worry as the CMs at the airport would find my luggage and load it for me. I had asked her to please Fed Ex my luggage tags, but she said they had decided to stop that as there was just too many of them. Anyway I just called back to see if I could insist that they Fed Ex the tags. Well guess what, I'm still not in their system and had to give them my resort ressie # and flight information AGAIN.

She said some tags went out Friday and maybe mine was in that batch. I asked her how they could be, when the computer still didn't even have me down as requesting DME. She said 'well I guess you're right, but don't worry we will have lots of CMs at the airport to assist you. If I'm still not listed in DME's computer will they let me get on a bus and where will my luggage be? Again this is ridiculous!! Why can't they get me in the system? How many times do I have to give them my flight info?
 
I've experienced the same. I gave my flight info about 6 wks ago when I paid off my reservation. When I read posts of others flight info not in system, I called back and sure enough it wasn't there so I gave it again. But I didn't feel good about it since reading all the posts regarding lack of tags. So......again I called Saturday, but the ME # instead. And guess what?? Of course, no flight info. The CM's explanation was that the WDTC data has not all been transferred into ME systems. OK, whatever. But I will call again, maybe today or tomorrow to verify once again.

It's not even ocurred to us to rent a car or car service. I think I will wait to see how this whole gig initially starts out before making that judgment call.

Today makes the third time I've called the DME number. The first said they had my information, but there was no way she had time to look. The second one apologized and took the information again. Then today a third CM with DME tells me it's still not in the computer. She seemed to think the problem might be that I have two resort conf #'s with CRO and one with MS. I'm spending May 13-14th at POP, then renting DVC points for five nights at BWV, then back to POP May 20th-22nd. Consequently, I'm having to give them two confirmation numbers for POP.
 
Give them the resort confirmation number for the first stay, covring tht night you will be arriving via Magical Express.

And try to get back some confirmation number, preferablyh written but at the very least the name of the person you talked to.

Don't give up. Do show up at the Magical Express welcoming area. If you did not receive baggage tags, it is not that big of a deal to get your luggage yourself, and depending on staffing, a ME rep. may help you.

I am staying at POP for 2 nights May 13,14 and then moving to BWV (I own DVC) for 5 nights and then coming back to POP for May 20-22.. When I read your post I thought maybe I had already responded to the OP but then I saw your name. Maybe I'll see you at one of the resorts. What time do you arrive on the 13th? I arrive at 10:24 am. Not sure how long at the airport it will take. I have a split reservation and had no problems with ME having the correct info. I called two days ago to CRO and confirmed all reservations, ME and PS's info. The CM read me my flight number and time of arrival. I hope your problem gets fixed.
Who are you traveling with? Its me and DD 12 for most of trip. I will meet up with friends Sun-Tuesday.

Hey, it really is a small world isn't it. I arrive May 13th at 9:43am. Depending on whether DME ever gets my flight information correct, who knows we may be on the same bus to POP. My flight out on May 22nd leaves at 6:20pm. I'm traveling solo this trip and can't wait.

I notice you had checked your DME info with CRO. You might want to double check with DME. CRO has my information correct. It's the people at DME that can't seem to get it in their computers. They say the computers at CRO and DME are not exchanging information the way they're suppoed to, but I've spoken with DME CMs three times and they still can't seem to get it right. I'm calling back tomorrow and if my flight information still isn't in the DME computer, I'm seriously considering renting a towncar.

My information was correct,'

I was told to go to Level A - Terminal 1 and look for the Disney Magical Express counter - it should be next to the Disney Cruise Line.
