I know, I know...this has been covered before but I can't believe what Disney is trying to pass off as toilet paper and napkins in the parks! We ate today at the French Market at DL and I noticed that the napkins have definitely gotten even thinner and they have even more of a "crepe paper" feel.

Disney, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH with the toilet paper and the napkins!! You have cut all you can cut in that area....now, MOVE ON! We have reached saturation with the paper products. The bar is as low as she'll go with the TP. Please, please don't keep looking at ways to make you're bottom (pun intended) line look better by continuing to find ways to make the most economical bathroom products known to man. Disney is making the little squares of toilet paper that the Army gives the troops look absolutely luxurious!

Enough is enough! STOP IT! The US Constitution has some verbage against "cruel and unusual" punishment....and this stuff is definitely cruel and it is very unusual! (How do they get it so thin?)

HaHaHa...and what's the deal with the rough towels?

One of our guests at a recent trip to the boardwalk villas asked "so, how many vacation club points does the good toilet paper cost?"

:( Are you kidding me? never mind the "rough " towels, what about the size and thickness ? Good heavens, these towels aren't even good enough {or safe enough} to use to clean your car!

Anytime the yellow pages would make better TP than what you're using at the parks, you're in trouble! My wife reminded me that she WON'T use Disney towels on the babies bottom because they're too rough and thin. It ain't always the "Happiest Place on Earth"...not in the stalls!

Here's a good place to throw in the coffee comment I've been holding onto. Didn't want to start a thread on it.

I don't drink coffee, but my wife virtually lives on the stuff. In the past WDW offered Columbian coffee in nearly all of their restaurants. My wife really enjoyed it. Not quite as good as the stuff she buys at home, but quite good nonetheless.

Now, (after Nestle aparently stepped up the sponsorship dollars) it's all been replaced by NesCafe. I don't know these things, but my wife tells me it tastes horrible and is the more or less the cheapest stuff at the grocery store.

We went to dinner at Citricos a couple of weeks ago and my wife commented that she was nearly sure that none of the folks in that restaurant at that time drank NesCafe at home, and likely didn't appreciate having it served to them on vacation.

While at the world last weekend we were exposed to the Nescafe and almost left in search of a good cup of coffee. In the future the coffee we drink at WDW will brought by us. Yet one more cost cutting thing we will do in retaliation to Disney's.:smooth:

thedscoop... please pm me too, I would love to know where to get the good coffee, my Mom and I were fighting over wheather that NesCafe coffee was instant or not, she insisted it was instant.

Don't give Disney any ideas or they'll install those toilets with the water cleaner that shoots water up your butt. Owie...

“Knowing that Nescafe monitors these boards quite regularly (ever heard of a poster named DisneyKidds?),”

Ah – caffeine overdosing. That explains soooooooo much!

YES You are correct The coffee at WDW is just plain awful.

I am not a big fan of Starbucks, but the stuff they sell at WDW is the stuff you send back at MCDonalds.

With all the good food and drink that Disney has developed over the years, I am at a loss as to why they cannot delivery a good (average) cup of coffee. There is nothing worse than hitting the park on an EE day and trying to wake up to a cup of hot mud.

We stay at OKW but have given serious though to going off site for a quick cup of coffee.

Have the coffee drinkers notified WDW of their complaint? Please keep the cards and letters coming to them about this shameful practice. I am not qualified as I find coffee yucky in all of its incarnations.

ever heard of a poster named DisneyKidds?
Sorry Scoop - not a coffee drinker so I probably couldn't tell the difference, much less be the 'WDW coffee brand relationship synergy, kickback and fleece the public for cheap cafe substitute' police ;). (Try fitting that on a business card  )

AV, I'm even more sorry that you can't use caffein OD as my excuse :p.

I believe I heard there are Starbucks at WDW. Where are they? I am not a big coffee fan, so I LOVE Starbucks because so much of what you get is milk and sugar! Yummy... I LOVE that caramel machiatto -- I don't think it even has coffee in it!

Ugh
So true on the toilet paper AND coffee!
I'm not much of a coffee drinker, but even I knew something just wasn't right with that coffee. I simply drank hot cocoa/hot chocolate from then on.
LOL

:( Coffee and toilet paper, perfect together. The coffee served at WDW when Kraft ran the land was great. It was the same everywhere on property. Now you might as well toss it into the toilet!:(

If I had to drink the stuff they pass on as coffee at WDW, I could easily give up my 6 cup a day habit.

I have resigned myself to drinking ONLY the coffee I make in my pot at my DVC resort. And I bring the coffee from home for it.

Ah yes, another reason to be a DVC member;)

I'm a tea drinker and I've had to deal with this for a long time now. There was a time when Twinings was served all over the World but later on they switched to the muck that they serve now.

As for Starbuck's, I would be thrilled if they were anywhere in WDW because they have great tea particularly the Chai. But apparently only that "other" place has Starbuck's on the premises.

The closest Starbucks that I know of to WDW property is at the Premium Outlet Mall off of 535/I-4.
