"This House" on 3/4 acre in YOUR area... what does it cost?

Probably around $300,000. The 3/4 acre part would be an issue, though -- a lot that size is usually going to have a significantly larger house costing about twice that much.

Depending on the exact area of Denver, this house would sell for around $550,000+ In the ritzier suburbs, probably around $750,000

This is the closest I could find sizewise but it's on a full acre plus it's a custom log home. It's $325000 and a nice looking house: Log House

This will vary widely depending on location and builder. Frisco tends to run high for new construction.

Where I live, by code it would be on a full acre, at least 400,000$ probably closer to 5. (a vinyl ranch around 1600 with a finished basement just sold for 320,000...I about fainted)

At least 1 million. And that's if they just wanted to sell it fast.

I don't live in a big city, but I do live in CA and the prices are like that all over the state. My parents sold a house at least half that size for $650,000.

A lot that size is an extra $35,000 to $50,000 around here.

I would guess about $270,000 to $350,000 with the lot. Depends on exactly where you put it. They don't build anything like that around here, style wise. Love the wrap-around.

My sister has a house going up right now, 4,300sq foot. Big treed lot, great school distric. $370,000.

Well, around here, first try finding a lot that is 3/4 acre. It would probably be about 1 to 1.5 million unless you went way far north or way far west.

I'm guessing here in my town around $800,000 for the structure. That size lot isn't usually available for the newer houses unless you get outside city limits. Then it's usually acreage one is after. I have 3/4 of an acre or a little better but my house was built in 1922.

Very nice!
My house is almost the exact same sq footage, 2856SF with 4 BRS & 4 Bths, with a pool. But, we are only on less than a 1/2 acre. Ours is valued around $700.00. So I would say add an extra $100.00 for the extra land, maybe $800.00 or so in Fort Myers depoending on how close you are to the beaches.
We are about 5 miles.

The lot alone would be worth close to a million!

I'd say 1.5mil.

On a tiny lot, it would be more like 800k-1mil.

Are you in the market for something like that?

You know what's funny? When you read the plans it says "total heated living area" down here it would read total under air.

Are you building this home? If so, I would consider adding another bathroom upstairs. Three bedrooms sharing one bath is a lot these days.

Bradenton, FL

around $800,000 depending on what neighborhood you are near. :rolleyes2

Our house is 3800 square feet (no elevator though!) We paid $220,000 in 2002.

Well there is a house across the street from me on a 3/4 acre lot. The house needs to be torn down. She is selling the property with the house. It is not listed yet. She wants about $270 - 275K. There is a 3 car garage that is OK.

I'm thinking of knocking it down and putting up that home. It should cost about 550k with everything. My home is worth about 400K, they tell me.

Eh, we have 4BR now sharing 2 baths, so it would be the same in the new home.... I think we would be fine. :thumbsup2

Just south of us you can get 1/2 to 1 acre lots and a house like that would be about $325,000

I'm guessing it would be somewhere in the 600's without a view. However, that is a very large house for this area and it would probably be put on a view lot - raising the price to 800- 1.2 mil, depending on the view.
