our Chefs De France adr for one at Boma (emphasis on trying). What do you think?

Hard to say without knowing the reasons why you'd want to switch. I just booked an ADR at Chefs de France. I'm sure you will have no problems booking Boma's. I haven't eaten at either restaurant yet, but I would like to try both eventually. I chose Chefs because I wanted to try somewhere else in Epcot besides Le Cellier, Teppan Edo and Coral Reef. I also admit that I really want to see the audioanimatronic Remy because I'm just THAT big of a nerd! :rotfl:

Having been to both...it is a tough call. It is a heck of a bus ride to Boma if you aren't staying at AKL.

We tend to prefer Chefs de France over Boma though, even though we are giving it another go in September before I say I really don't like it.

We will be in the AK that day and we have our own car, so transportation isn't a huge consideration for us. We are eating at Narcosses the night before and were thinking that Boma would be a nice change for the next night. I also thought I read that Chefs has a limited menu for those on the dining plan, is this true?

I'd switch it but I'm sure I'm in the minority. Chef's de France always seems to get great reviews but that was probably the worst meal I have ever had on Disney property, right down to the completely uncooked creme brulee (yep, it was completely liquid when they brought it to our table). Even the French food at the Food and Wine festival was bad, IMO. Boma or Chef's de France would be a no brainer for me. I've never had a bad meal at Boma's.

If you will be at AK that day, and you just had a fancy meal the night before I would say definitely switch. I think it would be a nice change! Give it a try. :goodvibes

We love them both so I don't think you can go wrong with either one. Since you are at AK for the day I would agree with doing Boma as it can be a bit of a pain going to Epcot just for a meal. If you do switch, make sure you arrive early to check out the gift shop at AKL. It has some great stuff.
