thinking of adding on, Feb UY and a ???

Hi all. I was thinking of adding on 30 points to my AKL contract. My use year is Feb. If I call in January and put down a deposit will I get points for 2009 and then again after 1/31 for 2010??
Thanks for any info. Sometimes all the use year stuff makes my brain hurt!!

You will get 2009 points if they are available. It isn't always an automatic but probably will happen with AKV. Also, before you buy, be certain to tell your guide that you will want to bank the points. Don't wait until after the purchase - and I would make certain the banking happens whille you still have the ability to recind the purchase.

You will also have the 2010 points and will have to pay almost the full year amount of dues on those. The 2009 points should not have any dues.

Back in Dec 2005 we did the same thing with a SSR add-on and a Feb UY. If I remember correctly when I called the Quality Assurance number to report we received our documents, they asked and took care of the banking right then.

I spoke with my guide today, we are seriously considering purchasing. He said that if we bought we would get 2009 points and 2010 points with a Feb UY. I asked when the current incentive of $15 off would expire and he said a date had not been announced yet.
I think the $$ incentives are different for add ons but I would think the points work the same.

I just added on at BLT. I was able to get 2009 points...they were available to use within just a few hours of talking with my guide. I then called MS and had them banked without any problems. Now I am waiting for January to book a Decemember vacation using my new 2009 and 2010 points!!
