Haven't seen the show before. I was wondering if it is good to get tickets in advance. There is a sale on now through March when we will be there. Or are there usually still seats available last minute if we don't want to book in advance?

I would buy the tickets now. They do sometimes sell out.

The show is fantastic! You won't regret it.

Thanks, my mom and I are going to visit my daughter while she is working at Disney in the DCP. So, she put in for the days off. As soon as I know if she has it off I will try to book tickets.

We went a couple years ago and absolutely loved it!

I would sign up for their online club and watch for a sale. We were able to get a great deal on category 2 tickets.

I highly recommend sitting up off the ground floor so you don't have to lean back so far to see everything going on above you.

Thanks, I did sign up for the online club. That's where I saw the sale price. :)

We have been to the show twice now. First time we got front and center tickets. As others have pointed out, you spend a good deal of time with your head tilted back, looking up. Last summer we went again, category 2, near center, they were great seats.

The show is nothing short of amazing!

If you're new to Cirque, it will be particularly amazing. I'd recommend you buy the tickets and then put it out of your mind. Do no research beforehand. Just go in with an open mind and you'll be blown away.

Curious. I've seen a Cirque show before. I don't remember which one, but I would rather have a root canal without pain killers than see that show again.

Is there anything different about La Nouba compared to most of the Cirque shows?

I haven't seen other Cirque shows.

What his it you didn't like about the one you saw?

They're just too "artsy-artsy" for me. I put CdS on the same page as "Cats." I love musicals, but I want some speaking and obvious plot. Plus, acrobats don't really do anything for me.

I also have to say that this was way back when Cirque first hit the U.S. A girlfriend talked me into it, and I didn't know what to expect. I knew that "cirque" was circus in French, and I was expecting a circus.

I'm usually not interested in over the top "artsy-artsy" stuff either. But I really enjoyed LaNouba. Maybe it's a little different from the other Cirque shows?

Oops... That was supposed to be "artsy-..." something else. Don't know if it was a board filter or autocorrect that did that.

Very true about second level seating, at this venue as well as any Cirque venue. I have seen La Nouba 4 times (always spectacular) and five shows in Las Vegas (several multiple times) and one traveling show here in Chicago, all great, and all best viewed second level.

The show is fabulous!! I would buy tickets now. I did notice you have AKV in your signature. Do you own at AKV? There is a DVC discount. Also there is no need to splurge on the best seats. There isn't a bad seat in the house. When I called for tickets, I pulled a seating chart up and the salse person helped me pick where I wanted. We bought the middle priced tickets one row behind the expensive ones. I think sitting back further is actually beneficial. There is so much happening it allows you to focus on it all.

Yes, we are DVC members. I will check if that discount is better than the cirque discount. This is actually kind of a last minute trip for me, I am used to planning 7-11 months ahead. But our daughter is in the DCP so I decided to go to visit her. This will also be my first time staying at POFQ as have been staying at DVC resorts for a long time now. Also, my daughter said that she doesn't know her days off yet, so I will wait until I know she gets off when we are there or possibly trade shifts with someone.

I have seen two Cirque shows - both in a Montreal and I thought thst they were fabulous!

We also recommend the show. It is really wonderful. I agree, sitting second level center five the best view. The theater is not large so there really are not too many bad seats.
