Don't suppose there's any chance you live in Massachusetts and can tell me where to get real bagels, is there? One of my coworkers went to New York last week and I asked him to bring me back some real - aka water - bagels. He thinks I'm nuts!

Unfortunately, no. I live in Alabama, where there is nary a real bagel to be found (let alone heard of) except at Panera (I buy a dozen at a time and freeze them). There's also a small shop near the university that offers real bagels. On alternate Thursdays. Sometimes.
