things to do at WL while waiting for EWP??

We have ADRs for WC at 7:10. I'm sure we'll wait 15-20 mins to be seated...I'm assuming it will be about an hour for dinner...wanted to watch the EWP from the WL...I know there are TONS of WL experts on this board who will help us possibly fill any time we might have between the end of our meal and the beginning of the pageant (we plan on going to the WL beach to view the EWP? is this ok even if we are not staying at the WL?). Thanks!

edited to add: our party includes myself, mom, 17yr old and 2 9yr olds...Just wanted to add that I don't need a reminder that the swimming pool is off limits! I've been around the boards long enough to know better and don't own a flame-retardant suit!!

I too am interested in this.

We have a 5pm reservation for WCC on May 5th - we were going to go elsewhere after but might change it to a later res. and stay later for the pageant.

It's one of the grad nights so I'm wondering if they'll still have the EWP or not?

And also, does anyone have the approximate times this will hit the other resorts? We might go over to FW or GF to watch it since we'd have lots of time... just a thought.

Here are some ideas:

- Visit the WL Merchantile, lots of neat WL themed souveniers

- Wonder and explore the upper floors of the Lodge that look down on the Lobby (find the fireplace sitting area on the 4th floor that overlooks the lobby and hang out)

- The geyser goes off once an hour I think, you should be able to catch it once while you're waiting

- The front desk has a hidden mickey hunt specifically for WL that they can give you...might be fun to grab that before heading to the upper floors for a little exploring

- Hang out in front of the large fireplace in the main lobby

- The lobby of the Villas at WL has checker games, etc. I think. You could go over there for a few games.

- WL does have an arcade. The kids might enjoy doing that while waiting.

There is also a train room (at the villas I think) where you can see Walt's first train, the one that brought about his insipration for Disneyland.
